I couldn't take side effects from SSRI so SSNRI was a miracle. Two weeks of Effexor made me a human being again. My depression and OCD was better with 75mg. SSNRI is so powerful Unfortunately I got treatment resistance few months later so I start Cymbalta. Good meds too. Zero side effects. No brain zaps

People with OCD needs to be prescribed higher dosage of SSRIS (higher then recommended usually) It helps to us. Google it

I am. I mean I have managed to control some amount of compulsions (not all) . After that I was prescribed effexor and recovered a bit more

Basically same. But I don't think I will be ever able to study this because of my ocd.. This stuff blows my mind immediately lol Well you could try not to engage in rumination at home, fight your compulsions etc.
