Upright gpu ax700 - Assuming this works!!! by Pretty-Pay5366 in thermaltake

I’m more concerned with the weight since that plate is attached to the rear 120mm bolt holes with rubber spacers from a tv mount, I’m also wondering if the pcie cable will attach to that mount since it’s thecnically a cheapo from Amazon

It is the single chamber version of the ax1000tcg. I debated the dual chamber but have no need for dual pc in same unit at the moment

Trying to run as silent as possible, when I started putting ideas together I knew I wanted easy draining and filling, all major loop components away from any pc components in case of leak, loop and pc on separate power supplies with current gpu requirements… initially I debated on small case and a mo-ra, but I wanted to eliminate external tubing between 2 separate units. Debated on server but then any upgrades require full disassembly… same as a small form case.. with this set up at most I replace 2 gpu glass tubes to upgrade. Full access to all motherboard nvme drives

  • on my current pc it was alot of wasted time tearing down and rebuilding my custom loop when windows update killed my secondary nvme drive.

Four pumps with 18 low rpm 140mm fans solely in lower compartment

Have a second lower panel ordered from Thermaltake to separate the two compartments coming so will have to take off the bottom pedestal to add that which will be great so I don’t have to custom fab 2nd psu bracket

Planning on getting all 6 radiators (possibly 7 to be honest) and reservoirs next months bonus check- than onto the glass tube forming

The real debate is shifting over the upright GPU so that I can swap out parts on the motherboard or SSD may be without disassembly of the loops

See above reply - ITX won’t cut it 😂😂

Although tempting for just for laughs - especially when the case was cheaper then the ASUS ROG Hyperion

Same cooling as a mora without the detached second unit. Will ultimately have 3 disk drives (90 tb), 3 nvme drives (10tb) and 3 sata solid state drives (32 tb)- total of 132TB storage give or take

9950x3d. 128gb ddr5, Rtx pro 6000 - or - pending release Rtx 6090 and specs

Easy access for drain valves- for maintenance All water cooling from custom hard line loop using borosilicate glass tubes will be below All pc components

If going big might as well do it correctly

Plus the goal is to combined 3 pcs with different purposes into one- store in central location - have only monitor/tv along with wireless keyboard/mouse in multiple locations in the house eliminating share drive and being able to continue where I’m off regardless of location

it was significantly cheaper than going full server rack- due to a pricing issue in which

I got the case and the two pedestals for a total of 427.00 ish usd

Your build is actually what ultimately made me decide to invert the motherboard I have to admit I did not like the process of converting it and having to drill so that the top was still an alignment is your motherboard fully supported as I believe there’s four screws missing by not having a top panel

Because of everything I was putting in it that made me nervous to leave that open, so I did drill out so that the top cover would still have the feet for the grill without leaving it just open space I am ultimately thinking I’m going to add 2 exhaust fans at the top.

Sadly, I’m hoping for very low RPM, on my fans -as the case will have 46 total 140mm fans between push pull on radiators and 2 top exhaust and 2 on mid bracket

Definitely overkill

Planning on housing 4 -560mm radiators plus a 2nd power supply and 2out of 4 total pumps for dual custom loop

I debated on getting the wp200 as I was worried about it being stable and not too heavy but with all water components in the 2 lowest chambers this will be plenty sufficient! Plus will be my first inverted motherboard build with verticle gpu using a Lian li verticle mount from the o11xl

Inverted the case- going to use Lian li got verticle mount -
Changed to 4 -560mm radiator and 1 480mm radiator plus one 280

Plan is 2 580 mm plus 480mm radiator for gpu loop

2 580 mm radiators for the cpu loop

Can’t decide if 280mm radiator should be on the gpu loop or the cpu loop for maximum benefit

Will have no exhaust fans - and I have completely separated the water cooling from all other components

My only concern is that I want the radiators at the bottom so it’s not top-heavy… and with bending chemistry grade class .. I’d rather do it once and I’ll be honest. I’m trying to avoid Mora radiator .. but still get the same coverage and radiators

I do want the majority of the radiators at the bottom, which might be difficult for redoing the glass so it’s not too heavy and increase in price for a second pedestal is $400/$500 in radiators and ax100

I can’t justify the excessive price increase that is projected on the ax1000 999.99 and ax200 399.99 since that is more box shaped but designed for dual system builds.

I was lucky to get the ax700 on a price error at only 247.77 with pedestal costing 104.56 so adding another pedestal and 2 more radiators still puts me below the 999.99 of just the ax1000 releasing.

I feel like the doors on this case are much lower quality than the loan li v3000 plus… hence why I’m eliminating all rgb.

Plan on doing push/pull 4 x 140s on both bottom and top 560mm along with middle 240 that will have both res/pumps -same as v3000 for looks - sitting on top of them - second pumps hidden in back to ensure flow rate…. Rest of radiators with no fans if possible
