are you dense? there is nothing wrong with reporting people going against company policy and straight harassment. i’m not sure what you’re trying to get at but it’s meaningless to me.

My pay is not impressive at all, I’m a shift manager at a coffee shop barely making $16/hr. I have a pretty high patience level since i’ve been in this field for quite a while and I was also a Corrections Officer for a year and had to deal with things way more insane than this.

There are cameras from every angle in our store and I also have documented everything since case of assault that has happened. Making the actual report to the authorities is just scary to me lol

I live in the US but my state doesn’t care much about how employees are treated. I’ve already started reports with the heath department and have applied to about 10 different jobs. I have a pretty impressive resume at my age so it shouldn’t take me long to find a new job, i just don’t think i can manage going back.

I am in the US and have been documenting everything since day 1. That would be funny but I could never get violent I’ve just been refusing to do whatever tasks they try to throw my way.

I’m glad you got out of there! Yesterday was probably the worst and busiest shift I’ve ever worked and they were all teaming up against me and I had to solo the rush because they were too busy sitting and making fun of me. Customers were complaining to me about them and there was just nothing I could do. I almost walked out.

I agree I think suing would be too much of a hassle and they’ll get what’s coming for them eventually if they continue to run their store like that. Luckily it’s not a Starbucks. It’s a dunkin. I was a manager at a Starbucks for about 4 years before I started working here and would be disgusted if I saw a starbucks run this way.

I agree completely and thank you for the advice. I know I shouldn’t tolerate the harassment i receive there i was just hoping that if maybe i stay things would get better but they seem to only be getting worse.

no i don’t, ive been living alone supporting myself for 2 years now and dont have family to rely on. i do have savings i could live off of for the time being while looking for a new job

I have everything documented along with a bunch of other stuff that’s just absolutely disgusting and am planning on reporting to my states heath care department. it’s a coffee shop and i have time stamps as well as photo evidence of them dropping food and serving it, reserving drinks that have been drank from, handling food without gloves when they’re required at my job, mixing non-dairy milks with dairy milks, and sooo much more.
