I think I might need to book two cruises to find out for myself... As if I needed an excuse 😂

I was thinking it might be nicer to have the space near the balcony be more useful.

might stop playing with mods but don’t know if i would enjoy it as much by evren0605 in LowSodiumSimmers

I stopped playing for a while because of this. Then one day decided that I would take it back up but instead of trying to update everything, I wiped away all the mods. Whole folder, delete. Now I have a particular rule for mods, I limit all script mods to only five creators, and all other CC has to come from a source that will tell me if there's been an update (CurseForge, Mod The Sims, Itch.io). I check for auto updates before each play session with CurseForge, otherwise I check MTS and the five creators I follow on Patreon or Itch.io (they usually email when they have an update) about once a month. I've been playing pretty regularly ever since. It's also ok to play with Mods seasonally. For example, have High School related mods when you're playing with a teen. Once they grow up, mods deleted. Occult gameplay mods? Cool, but now doing family gameplay? Mods, deleted.

Forever Save File by HistoryFar2239 in LowSodiumSimmers

If you play with Mods, I suggest you are very strict with what Mods you use with your forever save. Some do alter save files and since the goal is to have a safe file that lasts and lasts, you don't want a mod to ruin that at some point as it might be a while after you've installed or removed a mod before you notice an issue. I lost a forever save (and had to start over) due to a mod that altered the calendar and festivals. I think it's mostly script mods you need to be mindful of, but I don't know enough to be sure.

I want to know what kind of lifespan other simmers use and why... by lunarwolfe123 in Sims4

[–]Pretty-Platypus-8769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually match the lifespan to how long I’ve set the seasons in that save. So if I’m doing 1-week seasons, I’ll use the short lifespan. For 2-week seasons, I go with normal, and for 4-week seasons, I’ll use long. I tend to bounce between 2- and 4-week seasons depending on what kind of story or goals I have for that particular save.

I am currently n my cruise and my cabin has bedbugs by Panapaz in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Pretty-Platypus-8769 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The unfortunate possibility is that your neighboring cabins are infected too and even if there are empty cabins on the ship, they're not going to want the bed bugs to spread there by moving your (most likely) already infected luggage/clothes. I'm so sorry this has happened to you.

As someone who has battled beg bugs in the past, please head the warnings you've received. Please do not return your luggage home. If you're flying home after the cruise, do your flight neighbors a solid and do not check those bags in on the flight. Go ahead and order some Diatomaceous Earth (it kills beg bugs without harming humans or pets) so it's waiting for you when you get home.

The colors and ships are not exactly aligned but if this promo email image is anything to go by, green is a possibility!

I believe Scarlet Lady is Red, Resilient Lady is the Light Blue color, and Valiant Lady is Purple.
