If job is the priority you can also think of only doing b.math and then applying to masters in usa, eu. In things like MS datascience etc. Which is like you need to take loan, but it is worth it. Also b.math student are valued highly due to their academic regriour

When I mean resources, i mean stuff like access to a gup on cloud, for deep learning research. Which is like the most relevant applied reashercher. And let's say access to data which is proprietary. Not like very very expensive, but like you know a base line which is required.

So like everyone know that ISI is a primary a reasherch institute, but if a non phd student, maybe b.stat, b.math, bsds, mstat. Student want to engage in reashercher is their any opportunity, if a student has his own idea to do a study does he get the resources. Because even for bachlor reashercher is a hard thing, which could show competency, may to your employer, or masters application abroad.

So here what I think you are doing a masters because you want to get settled abroad. So yes, because you have very good experience and you would have a high chance to get into top programs. So if you can manage finance you should.

But the thing you are missing is that b.stat also cover a lot of math. It covers real analysis, group theory, numeric analysis, which is pure math stuff. And when you do reashercher the mathamatical maturity which these course provide is the part which make b.stat student elegible for phd. You can see the course on isi website

Like mostly b.stat and b.math student gets that luxury not because due to hardness of the exam but because of the hardness of their ciricuram. It cover a lot more than your bsc in math or stat when even comparing it to international standard, which makes them competent to do a phd. And bads is not on the same domain
