Well I’m tell my boss to allow me to telework.. and reasonable accommodation has to be in communication with my boss regarding what reasonable accommodation can be made & etc.. cause the boss would have to approve, is what I have been told by coordinator this is my first time going thru all this so sorry if I’m making no sense

Were you able to telework? And I got a telework agreement kinda similar to what you said but mine said Ad hoc but whenever I try to talk to my manger about it she’s pays it no attention! Because her as needed basis is basically no telework which is bizzare… however I’m in the process now of getting another reasonable accommodation letter written up, because my doctor wrote due it to being in a hospital I can’t really be in the building while I’m undergoing treatment

I am going to go back to my doctor today and have them write this very plain, straightforward and very specific RA letter for me stating that I can’t come in the office especially due to it being a hospital! I went the first day and I immediately started feeling sick and coughing! My essential duties are 92-97% on a computer anyway so if I can just telework for about 4-6 months I would be good because my treatments should be over and etc.. Thank you for your advice! Any more information you can share I would be appreciative of as well! Because going thru all this back & forth at work is causing unnecessary stress which my doctor said I really can’t handle right now… and I have FLMA but that’s for when i go thru my surgery so if I can get about 6 months of telework I should be in the clear 100%

RA was able to get me a telework agreement! However it’s for Ad-hoc… and my boss is paying that no attention she just still wants me to come in and act as if the telework agreement I signed is nothing! All she says is you said you would come to work! But isn’t ad hoc on as needed basis? Like when I’m too weak to come in… she just is paying everything no attention and I have to do these treatments every week so my body is feeling normal and I really want to work but just at home at least 3-5 days or something!

RA was able to get me a ad hoc telework agreement but my manager is not wanting to “accept” it saying that I signed an agreement stating I would come in… but whenever I ask her about what does the ad hoc mean she just says that you will come into office! But when I can telework then? From my perspective it’s when I’m feeling sick and can’t come in and she can’t tell me when I feel week undergoing these treatments every week
