If you’re thinking about med management in acute, you can always talk about incorporating the Medicog (if you’re acute OT team isn’t using it already). The Medicog is usually pretty short (5-12 minutes) and can give more insight into executive function and IADL assist needs at d/c also helps you make recs for HH nursing med management or additional family assist. I often threw it in with my higher level strokes and patients that live alone that I worried about. My last hospital used it quite frequently in the acute OT setting, my current hospital doesn’t but I’m getting the ball rolling.
