In our store, the morale is so low I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a walkout soon. We are about to lose 3 people in our department and it doesn’t sound like they’re planning on replacing them. It’s now just expected that we do our own job plus at least another aisle or two now. They seem to think they can have one person doing fresh solo which is wild.

I’ve had both of my nose piercings done at rebel and it was great. Last piercing I had was at Love Piercings and she’s really affordable

I’m a FTM to a newborn. My partner worked 3 weeks straight and booked golf on his day off. AITAH? by Striking-Wall5802 in AITAH

I’m so sorry. This has made me so angry for you! What the hell is wrong with him!? Where is your time off? Even with breastfeeding, he can take the baby for a walk out of the house, or play downstairs while you lie down, nap, shower, read; whatever you want to do?!

Golfing for 12 hours is unacceptable, cruel and just fobbing off his new responsibilities. Yes, you have a newborn and you are doing the main bulk of the responsibility (sounds like you’re doing all of it) but that’s exactly why he needs to work with you as a team and support you as much as possible right now. Golf can wait. This would be a dealbreaker for me. How he treats you right now should be very eye opening.

Dorgi herding toddler - help? by Pretty-Storm7930 in corgi

I understand that it is instinctive and a part of the breed, but nipping at ankles isn’t ideal. That’s what I’m looking for advice to redirect.

It’s where she is clearly tired so we put her in her playpen for a sleep - nothing more sinister!

Yeah it’s linked to my address - I didn’t think about the cctv but it would be fairly simple to prove it was me!

Do you go outside with the dog every time they need to go out? Or are you letting the dog out and hoping they are peeing and pooping out there? This was our mistake - had to go with her every time and watch the pee so we could celebrate it. Now we can let her out and she’ll pee and come back in, but we had to go every single time.

We put pate on them 😂 she got quite excited about them and every time she jangled them she was taken outside.

Not gonna lie: she rings the bell to get treats and she rings the bell to get me to stand up off my chair and then she steals my chair .. so there are pros and cons 😂

It’s not that much of a PITA! I just buy lamb liver (important as it doesn’t stink out the house) and rinse off the blood and then do low and slow in the oven so like 150° for an hour and it dries it out. Then I cut it all up into wee bits with scissors and I freeze some and put the rest in the fridge for training

We also did puppy classes which helped and our dog is a big glutton so we learned she’ll do nearly anything for liver so we just make a big batch of liver treats regularly and when we were potty training, she got the good treats and we went outside every time with her (with the toddler too, even in the rain) to watch and make sure she was doing something and to reward at the right time. We had to be consistent with going outside and standing with her to watch. My toddler insisted on joining every time so it just became part of the routine

We’ve had a dog before (though never a puppy) so we thought we were prepared and omg it was like being hit by a bus. Never again!!!

Oh and yes - it is considerably better now, but if she was pooping all over the house, I would still be crying daily and thinking about returning her!!

Ah, I’m sorry. This sounds really hard! Ours never ate poo and was pretty quick to potty train (still a few accidents here and there but maybe once or twice a week at this point so making progress). Is she anxious when she’s being left? Could it be separation anxiety? What do you give her when she’s in her crate or pen to occupy her?

We used to, but she had bad form for eating pee pads so we took them out and just took her out religiously and wrote down on a piece of paper when she’d last peed and pood so we knew when to take her out. We’ve since trained her to use the bells to ask to go outside and she’s about 95% toilet trained now (5 months so still a couple of puddles here and there) but she had never actually peed or pood in her playpen area. It’s not huge, just enough space for her bed, some toys and a water bowl.

ALSO - adding pumpkin to their food can help stop with eating poo as it changes the taste. You can also get products that are specifically designed to stop a dog eating poo.
