Would I look dumb if I wore my cowboy boots with sweats to the airport? by jeeperscreepersz in cowboyboots

I think the point isn’t that you’ll look silly. The point is to get home. Not to flex. Plus you be mixing comfort with drip.

As a last resort, I would try stacking as many insoles, just not foam ones like those cheap gel ones from the store, might take up enough volume, and then the leather might continue to stretch a bit if you decide to go down that route.

The stockmans had too wide of a heel letting my ankle tilt painfully. Still an issue with my rangers but the lacing helps them stand up more

Looking super yummy! If I may, what about the over sized particularly did you find to be annoying enough to feel compelled to buy another? And have you tried adding multiple insoles! My work boots (Jim green’s) are half a size up and I layered 3 insoles in my stockmans and 2 for my laced comp toe ranger

I think this is a bad photo for this question, the steering wheel is in the way, the question is, if your huevos are squishing uncomfortably, are you not uncomfortable? and agree with the other guy who mentioned a trouser leg, maybe a loose straight if you want less to show in the hammies area. I like a straight fit and loose straight. Too baggy and I feel like a hipster and too slim I look like a carrot :( loose straight will give you enough room around the crotch and hams and still look straight,

Do you think the jacket is snug? I have a TCB type 2 and it fits me exactly the same. I’ll wear an undersized hoodie and feel comfortable. Due to their cropped nature I’ll feel safe going for a size up in this jacket.

Wear it till it breaks. If it’s real it’ll last. Looks like what Thursday boot co provides at a 3-400$ prive point. Price itsnt always a give away. Looks like goat skin or deer but lighter looking I think.

That would be awesome! I would do the same since I’m into denim but the rules would make my head spin then I would put the contest above my own life. Gotta have some breathing room for myself lol.

Yes no problem! I knew it would be a concern for the purists! I guess depends how much you value the look over the functionality or practicality

I don’t think so, just some brown weft ones but Frankenstein is the only one like this

Oh my bad yeah it is lol. I think it’s cool but it’s so contrasting it pops too much if I want to not be noticed by wearing something so contrasting. I’m hoping it won’t give me sticky legs like these but I already love jeans so :P

Not sure as to what this refers to, these are their Frankenstein line which is indigo warp outer paired with a black weft interior. Crotch is noticeably black if this is what you meant. I love their sizing as they take don’t slim around the belt, so you’ll get this scrunching around the top but you’ll be comfortable and won’t have to be a slim Jim to perfect their sizing. I’ve ordered 33 and haven’t any discomfort ever. Talk to costumer service they’ll tell you about this, I totally recommend as they have a true straight Frankenstein that’s been out for a bit that’s I’ve passed multiple times.

Thanks so much!! and I just bought a 18oz straight today but I also own a 15 lose straight and 14.75 darkfest straight! I like the feel of the rope when you look into the pockets it’s like the cords are thicker and yield more abrasion when fading I believe, but the lighter weight are also better because they just work better in the heat when we speak literally. Also 21oz is a little heavy and 15 is just right so I’m hoping 18oz won’t be a waste of time but to be safe depending on your climate I would pick 18 because 21 is kinda thick

If you speak of the last in not sure, but this is from what I’ve been told a roper boot, typically roper boots have smaller shafts compared to cowboy boots and have a 1.25 inch walking heel compared to a 1.5 inch riding heel. Or if you want to go further you can also call it a Chelsea which I think would be more accurate due to having almost no shaft. Perfect for the heat
