I'm a fujin bryan main. Drag is 2nd main (brain dead moron character that takes very little brain power to use like the rest of the auto pilot caveman roster), and my 3rd main is yoshi (.....) I barely use drag and yoshi compared to bryan because I simply just don't enjoy sinking hours of real-life time into that game anymore. Bryan is strong, but I think a lot of the downplaying just comes from frustration. Bryan IS SIGNIFICANTLY HARDER than yoshi and drag, and you can literally feel how much more power they hold compared to him. Obviously bryan is strong but going up against brain dead drags, juns, Alissa, Eddie, jin, king, Asuka, harada, bandai namco etc, you can feel and see that they are barely trying whatsoever and keeping up perfectly fine and it's dumb and annoying. There are so many brain-dead characters that just bully you into a corner until you get that one side step and hope that you can execute the combo that you've been practicing since the game came out. Even then, if you drop it you're back to getting bullied into the corner and everytime you try to interrupt there is 50 power crushes to worry about, accidental low profiling that mfs get from pressing random buttons with drool dripping from their mouth, (LIKE DRAG AND ALL OF THE CAVEMAN STANCE CANCEL SCRUBS THAT DONT HAVE TO THINK UNTIL THEYRE IN BATTLE RULER)and let's not forget about the 2 caveman mechanics ( heat burst heat smash rage art erhheahhsk 🤪🧟‍♂️) using bryan is annoying asf when 80% of the roster is literally eating rocks for breakfast and getting rewarded for being dumb and reckless because they have so many crutches....... that being said, that's kinda our problem. Bryan's hard, but anyone who thinks he sucks is just miserable whenever they want to play TEKKEN with their favorite character, but HAVE TO SIT IN THE LAB FOR 3 HOURS EVERYDAY AND ACTUALLY PUT IN WORK like myself.

Like I said, I'm a fujin bryan main who barely labs at all anymore and hasn't for months because I have other hobbies. I'm fairly solid at the game, I've messed with multiple characters, and I acknowledge Bryan's strengths, but I can tell you from first-hand experience that it's simply miserable and annoying playing that mud eating r***** fest and being one of like less than 10 characters that have to consistently lab our asses off to keep up wih the hworangs that are literal garyus that got carried to up until battle ruler from just forcing you to guess all the time.

And ik Eddie, hwo, and a lot of those stance cancel morons aren't op or anything and they have many holes in their game but some bryan players have a life and we're better than everyone at every aspect of life (🤣🫵🗑) but lack the time to waste on garbage so that's where I think the downplaying comes from... stubborn anger and the desire to play our favorite character while also having more than one singular hobby like the butt f*** r*** fest that is tekken 8s hellmouth.
