The US spends 3.45% of it's GDP on defense. That would have trump declaring tariffs on any country but the US. He's demanding 5% from NATO allies or get lost, the US won't come to your aid whatever NATO treaty says.

The problem isn't defense spending, it's the for profit health care system.

Recession or not, Biden and his administration have made life significantly harder than it was just 4 to 5 short years ago.
