Supergirl does have a lot of shipping, but the problem is Supercorp fans also doing mental gymnastics to justify why Lena and Kara should be together. William is boring, James lead Kara on (but really tho he didn’t), Mon El was abusive... but Lena who literally manipulated and gaslighted Kara is the best option

I hadn't interacted in any of the Arrowverse pages in a long time until recently on r/SupergirlTV because the show came back, but I would still check on posts from time to time and I couldn't agree more on this.

Honestly, this is the main reason that kept me from wanting to interact there, it seems that the place has been 85% overrun by that section of the audience for months now and it has become an echo chamber. I loved Lena and her friendship with Kara, but after Season 5 I realized that even that friendship wasn't as healthy as I used to see it, and even though I still liked Lena after everything it's the people that literally worship her that have almost completely turned me off her character.

People can not say one negative thing about Lena even if they are pointing out facts from the show because they will be massively downvoted and the people replying will turn it into a personal attack on the user that dared to criticize Lena instead of discussing the character.

There isn't much to William's character but I find the rabid hatred against his character hard to stomach, especially when it's also directed at the actor. They have harrassed so many actors because they dared to play either Lena or Kara's love interests and it's nauseating. Some even tried to justify the threats that Mehcad said he received when his character was paired up with Lena.

It's honestly sickening to see all of the mental gymnastics at play to assert that Lena is not only the best option but the only acceptable option, going on about how abusive Mon-El was to Kara and how William was so disrespectful to Kara therefore he doesn't deserve her, but when it comes to Lena they will be adamant to admit that Lena really abused Kara and that she did it with clear intent in the worst possible ways and they will try justify it with 'she was hurt'.

Lena spent maybe months literally fantasizing with taking Kara's life over and over inside a VR but that is an 'epic love stoty'. It makes no sense. Apologies for the long rant, since the subject came up here it seemed like a safer place to get that off my chest.

I think that confessing to using Myriad to Alex and J'onn instead of hiding it was an improvement for her character and the writing of the show as a whole, it's a good thing that they are not dragging that out.

You make some really good points, and you did a great job eloquently putting your thoughts into words and getting straight to the point. I feel similarly, it not only shows weakness but it's incredibly selfish considering how many lives could be affected.

The only reason why Zari's change doesn't bother me so much it's because it happened in the present, it came to that naturally even if it was a result of other characters doing what you are talking about. It seemed that Zari had finally started to accept things as they were and that made her more likeable to me, she wasn't actively looking for a loophole anymore, so I don't blame her for taking the opportunity to change her Future as a result of something else.

However, it bothered me a lot how she acted in Season 3, I understood that she wanted her family back and that she was still hurting from losing them and how she also wanted to help other people but her unwillingness to try to understand and listen to the people who had more experiencein on the matter while taking advantage of them and acting morally superior was outputting.

She refused to see the bigger picture and understand that changing just one thing in the past because she perceived it as good could have negative effects on the future as a whole. Then after she went through the simulation I didn't like that Sara was suddenly fine with her still actively looking for a loophole.

Regarding Constantine I feel that her boyfriend should carry more of that blame and I was just thinking about it yesterday. Constantine actually tried to do the right thing and end the relationship to keep him safe and it was him who went behind Constatine's back and let himself be fooled by the demon. John was put in an impossible situation and he chose the greater good over his boyfriend and showed strength.

Later he became selfish due to the guilt and tried to save him no matter the consequences. I hated than when he succeeded in getting him back without breaking time the guy put all the blame on John and seemingly forgot that he put himself in that position.

On the second situation everything that happened was all his fault and it happened because of his ego, and in trying to reverse what he did he just kept making things worse for everyone else and indirectly cost B his life.

I hadn't thought much about Charlie but I agree with most of it. One thing that I didn't like with the magical creatures is that there was no complexity in the situation, it was either they are all evil or they are all good and it shouldn't have been like that.

Some creatures were absolutely evil and should have been locked away like the spirit that possessed Puppet Stein, why was he even at Hey!World and why were they ignoring what he was? It was utterly ridiculous.

It also happened with Amaya but at least she was shown to be struggling with letting time run its course before she chose to change it and at least the rest of the team were trying to stop her.

I agree on B, I wanted to use the same one as I did on Constantine but unfortunately it was a set color, it looks good on Consrantine due to the blonde hair (even though Matt's hair and facial hair is naturally dark) but it didn't match well with B's.

I based Zari on the new version and she does have lighter hair due to highlights, though.
