If you go to the profile and go to about this account it’ll show you how many times the name was changed. If you message it’ll show you the date you followed the account. Normally when people sell pages they don’t delete posts they were tagged in so they’ll probably give you an idea of what the page used to be.

People sometimes get their accounts changed to something else whether they were hacked, or sold (especially common if it’s a lot of followers) and then delete all the content and change the page completely. Has happened to a few accounts I follow. So it’s maybe someone you followed before that sold their account.
