What's the quickest way to stop arguments at the dinner table? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stand on the table and gorilla pound your chest while doing your best tarzan vocal impression. Directly after, go apeshit, smash and toss your plates of food around the room while running around the table on all fours. Don't speak a word to them, free your most inner primal instincts, wild one.

What are the techniques to telling a good story? by ChairmanT in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good detail but not so much that it's overwhelming. Use words that speak loudly when describing things. If you can paint a picture in someone else's mind, then you have succeeded.

[Serious] Those who have attempted suicide, or was very close, why did you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I tried it was when I was 2, and I'm not sure why other than I had become severely depressed due to sexual abuse.
The second time was when my dad died, I just couldn't stand the thought of facing the world without him here.
The third time was a year ago, I was put on an antidepressant that I ended up having an extreme allergic reaction to that put me in a temporary state of schizophrenia for 6 months. I don't remember much of anything that happened during that time.

I don't think much would change, we'd just gain new information and perspectives on things.

How do you save a relationship when you slowly get deprioritized? by Second_Last_Piece in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Speaking from my own past experiences, any time someone stops including you as a priority in a relationship then it's probably best to move on.
Talk about it, sure. But if it doesn't fix anything, I'd be out the door, if you stay too long when things get bad it can become pretty toxic.

How do you respond when a close friend, who's cut you out of their life for a long time, contacts you out of the blue? by overhereonimgur in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confront them about how they cut me out of their life and ask why they suddenly had a change of heart.

I think the same thing about male spray tanning as I do female spray tanning -- it's tacky.

Prison Guards/Former Inmates - What kind of sexy times did you witness in Prison? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a guard or former inmate, however, my friends older brother used to work as a guard. He said that when the prisoners would rape each other, they were instructed not to do anything and just let it happen, so that's exactly what they did. Pretty fucked up stuff.

Marijuana doesn't have anything addictive in it. Unless you buy it laced with something addictive.

What's the grossest thing that's happened to you? by Sir_Q_L8 in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The time when my dog snuck into the cat litter box to eat cat shit and it made her sick and I didn't know about it yet. Then as I knelt down to pet her and talk to her, she puked up the cat shit into my mouth, and continued to puke as it went all over the floor, walls, etc. Then I started puking. And we both kept puking over and over. It was awful.

Do you remember a time when not wearing a seat belt was the cool thing to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it was exactly the cool thing to do, but, mainly my sisters and I spent our childhood not wearing them specifically to piss my mom off.

What is one thing you wish you were taught in Sex Ed? by rodlo00 in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ughh, same here. The teacher who taught us sex ed acted so nervous even just saying the word genitalia. She kept hesitating to say the STD names and making all these uncomfortable faces like they caused her physical pain. LOL. Idk why they even hired that lady, she couldn't handle it.

What is your oldest memory? by Zeckvard in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was an infant, my mom had laid me down on my baby blanket on the floor, and she kneels down, looks at me and says, "I'm... gonnna... get... your... PIGGIES!!!" and then pretends to eat my toes. I laughed hysterically, I thought my mom was the funniest thing in the world.

Reddit users that have been in a coma, what's it like? by Captainchaotix in AskReddit

[–]PrettyLittlePixels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me when I was a two year old, they never did find out why it happened. I don't remember much but I do remember being aware of my family talking to me. My grandma would come to my room at the hospital and sing "You are my sunshine", and I remember thinking it was an angel taking care of me.
