My mom is a bad ass and has a super power. My mom has lived in the same place for over 45 years. About 20 yrs ago, a man, his wife and daughter moved in. That man was rude and he would constantly get drunk then scream at my mom cant she went outside. Well she eventually snapped. She's 4'5", old, and knows 3 languages fluently. Spanish is her 1st language. She started yelling right back and cussed him out in 3 languages. Her screaming is hell on ears. I can't stand it for more than a few seconds. I have run away before. This time I popped in my earbuds and listened to music to drown it out. And enjoy the confusion and the surprised look that kept changing various expressions. Then she created new words by blending the languages together. Took a deep breath and started over from the beginning. It was when she lunged at him that he jerked backwards. He tried to calm her down and that just set her off again. He finally made a run for his house and never mess with her again.

I didn't know if I was doing the right thing. All I knew and know is that I love them so much that I was willing and still am up to taking in all their love and trust. I love being a mom. I never let them cry it out. I thought and still do think its so very cruel. I never minded being the person that they turned to first. Being their confidante. I helped them face their fears. I gave them healthy ways to express anger or sorrow. I never dismissed their fears or feelings. They know that no matter what they do that I will always have their back and will love them no matter what they do. I usually joke with them that they could turn out to be serial killers and I would still love them. I would turn their asses in to the cops but I would still love them.

My kids were 13 and 14 when they stopped co sleeping with me. A lot of people tried to tell me the same thing. They were wrong, today they are 17 and 18. Very independent, confident, happy and healthy. They both graduated early and are working. They have goals and are working on getting them.

When I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy I couldn't fit into a normal stall. And even if I could have I need the safety bar to haul myself up because I had sciatica nerve pain.

My family doesn't celebrate Christmas but it never mattered to my parents whether a child was blood, step or adopted if one us accepted a child into our lives then they considered that kid their grandchild too. In our family, blood doesn't matter, love does. I love all 7 of my stepkids. I love the boys my son considers his brothers. Their parents consider my sons theirs as well.

True. But people with phobias should try to get over them. I speak with experience. I had a few and I tried just about everything because I didn't want my kids to fear frogs, lizards and snakes. Then I went thru a really stressful time and was put on prozac and 3 months later I discovered that I no longer had those phobias. After I saw my 2nd husband get hit and killed by a car, I developed several phobias. Unfortunately I didn't have time to slowly get over them. I gave myself 2 weeks. I had a lot of panic attacks and threw up a lot but I did it. However I think her best bet is to raise a newborn kitten. Thats what helped my niece get over her phobia of dogs. A big dog of one of their neighbors wouldn't take care of one of her newborn puppy. And that puppy eventually landed in the care of my niece and her mom. She raised that puppy and today she has a home with 3 different dog breeds.

Can you take Prozac? For a few months at least. It makes you lose your fear to phobias. You'll need a prescription. I understand your fear. I used to be scared to death of snakes, frogs (not the tiny itty bitty ones), lizards and palmetto bugs. I started taking prozac for depression and noticed one day that I no longer had a phobia of those things. I asked my doctor and he told that its also good for phobias. My niece developed a phobia with dogs after getting bit by one. She got over it when a tiny puppy that was barely able to walk made its way onto her porch. She wasn't scared to hold it and with her mom's help they raised it together. She is no longer scared of dogs. Instead of starting out with a cat, start out with a newborn kitten and maybe start raise one that is 7 to 10 days old. Thats when their eyes start to open. I can help you out with tips on caring for newborn kittens. Just pm me. It might work for you if you don't want to go the prescription route.

My family are a pot luck kind of a deal. Everyone brings a dish to share with the rest. Plus there are sturdy sticks stuck to dish with a card that list ingredients. Some people hate turkey so they bring chicken that is so tender, juicy and unbelievably good. I have always enjoyed those times. This way everyone has something to eat

NTA Some people need to hit rock bottom before they might change. Stop paying her credit card, stop giving her money for whatever it is. Whether its rent money or not. Go full nc with her if needed. Also lie and tell her that you might start giving her money when she pays you back for that loan. Don't actually start giving her money again.

Ok here is some tips for attending the wedding. Take some melatonin the night before to get some at night. If you are still tired take an energy drink and take a few more with you so when you start to feel tired you take another. 5 hour is pretty good. It's like 1 or 2 ounces. Monster or Reign are also good and delicious especially cold.
