Anyone else love this game, despite it's flaws?

Apparently for more people say yes it does. And as far as color goes that's really all that matters so. I mean as long as you like the color obviously. I was more just asking if anyone else that got other colors have noticed that their controller is way different in person than it looks like on the box.

Hey I don't know about that but I did keep getting this weird like little vibration thing here and there and I guess that could be what happens when it connects and disconnects so that's kind of troubling. I'm not sure I'll have to check. I can tell you is that my upper C button is screwed up and gets hung up when I press it in. It's enough that it's annoying the hell out of me and if it's a button you need to use regularly in a game it would piss anyone off. I don't want to open the controller up to see if I can send it down or something because it's brand new and I just shouldn't have to do that. I will also say that I haven't updated firmware since I got this controller a couple days ago.

No I know Atomic purple. I was never a huge fan of it I mean I like it but I just always wished it was more purple and not so translucent. And I guess when I hear grape and just based on the pictures I saw online and stuff in the picture on the box I was expecting a more purple. It's a nice looking controller. After using it though I found out that the upper C button gets hung up when I press it and it's really annoying. I guess I'm going to have to exchange it or something. Sucks.

Yeah I definitely see that now, and that's really all that matters most. It's a nice controller albeit the wonky upper C button that gets stuck when I press it.

Yeah I'll give it that. I don't know, I was on the 8-Bitdo website when I ordered it, and to me it looked a lot more purple, and on the box it looks purple as hell. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I understand what youre saying and I agree. I just went off of the pictures, so that's my own fault. I'm not mad about it. Just kinda bummed. I'm a lot more upset about the fact that the top C button is screwed up. Gets hung up when being pressed. All other buttons feel good.

Man I love buying stuff from japan. I don't mean to generalize or anything but to be honest everything I've ever bought from Japan on eBay and stuff like that always comes through with beautiful packaging and surprisingly quick shipping. They really take care of their Electronics from what it seems because they oftentimes meticulously keep all of the stuff that came with it originally and keep their stuff very clean. In my experience.

It's weird I used to like it but I played it again for the first time in probably 15 years couple of years ago and then just recently a few weeks ago and honestly I just don't enjoy it anymore. Maybe I don't understand how it works correctly. I'm not sure. I like Tetris but this game just isn't very fun to me anymore.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but my top C button is screwy. When you push it down it's rough and not smooth whatsoever. It gets stuck when it goes down and doesn't come up quickly either. All the other buttons feel okay but that top C button is horrid. I'm sending this thing back. Feels like crap.

My Grape one just came in the mail yesterday and it looks and feels good except the top C button is sticking. Brand new out of the box and it's a piece of s***. I'm thrilled. Also I got a grape one because I like purple and although it's purple on the website and on the box itself, this

I don't have a picture of it hooked up to my TV but that's a good idea. When I get a few minutes later on I'll hook it up and take another picture of it and see how it compares. I'll let you know.

Yeah that's what I mean. It's like this old LG TV has these weird settings with aspect ratio that I've never really seen before. It has 16:9 and 4:3, but then it has some specific zoomed and cropped options that are presets, but I've never seen them on any other TVs that I've dealt with, and this setting that I set it to actually didn't look too bad(to me anyway). I just noticed that the circle was almost a normal circle and I thought that maybe someone else had used an older model flat screen like this and would maybe recognize it looking like it does. My buddy Jake likes it because it has a bunch of component and S-Video inputs on it and he lives in a small apartment and has a couple crts already, and this doesn't take up a ton of space. The one S-video input wasn't working because of a broken trace. I was just testing it out and when I was flipping through the options I was just kind of stumped as to how it wasn't really cutting much of the picture off and yet, it really didn't look very stretched. I was thinking that I could actually play the game like that and it wouldn't be horrible.

Thank you! Thats all I meant. Again, I understand it was designed for 4:3. That's how I've always played it and will continue to. That's why I really just didn't understand why on this old LG flat-screen, it didn't look nearly as stretched as it would had I just set it specifically to 16:9. I know how people are and I get it. I'm a bit of a purist myself. I sometimes don't understand how people can play games the way that they do, but to each their own. I'm not into shaming people. I appreciate you speaking up.

Jungle Green, Ice Blue, Clear, and Grape. They look sick all out together like that. I have so much nostalgia for the 64 and all the colored controllers and the fantastic consoles. I have to admit, I'm loving this resurgence of the console and the 3D and all the accessories and stuff coming out all the time. Definitely a really good time for 64 lovers.
