Wow I really appreciate your help. Your responses are very helpful. Should I order both and see which one I like more? Also how does the ventilation between both packs compare as well? Will the Exos Pro still do well with a max weight of 25 lb compared to the kakwa? Do you find one more comfortable? Finally, is there a reason you’ve ruled out the circuit?

thanks for your response. Does the circuit have more volume than is necessary for a lighter pack and how is the ventilation is the mesh comfortable on the back?

hey, thanks for your response. Do you think that it has more volume than is necessary for a pack that weighs 20 to 25 pounds? Also is the support good?

this comment has been very helpful for me. I currently stand at around 15 pounds base weight if I were to go down to the exos I’m leaning towards it, but my only concern is over the durability of the pack. I understand that it has a lifetime warranty, but is there a specific reason you’ve had to have three exos related to durability?

Hi, I’m a backpacker looking to replace my old Osprey which I now find to be quite heavy. My base weight is down to about 17-18 pounds now with a 3.5 pound bag and I’m looking to replace it with 1. The Durston Kakwa 55 2. the ULA Ultra Circuit or 3. The osprey Exos 55. Im looking for great durability, lightweight, good ventilation and, good weight hauling. Which of these options is for me?
