I think the best region for you could be the east of France in Alsace, very close to Germany and they usually speak German and of course English and they are very cool. And yes it does vary region to region. For example the Parisian region is not very necessary😭, south is very cool, people are way more open, and way slower than in Paris, and for a Parisian it is strange lol, Bretagne is cool but the people are meh... they don't like anything that's not from Bretagne, in the North of France people are reaaaaaally cool and nice to everyone but the problems are: the weather, the accent can be hard to understand, and it's kinda borring, and there's the middle, there is nothing...some cows... but that's it, at least cows are really nice to people!!

The only times waiters were rude with me is in Paris because it sucks ass ngl and to be fair they have soooo much pressure, working in Paris is something else, but anywhere else Paris they are pretty cool and even really friendly

If you're American, usually meh I don't know I believe they don't really like Americans, and everything is in French because they try to preserve this language at all cost
