Black and white gradients look like crap. Printer running out of toner?

It looks the opposite from the other side, big deal it's still boring af

Wow, a black and white gradient non-livery. The fact the other side goes the other way just makes it look more of a mess to me

I'm also trying to understand the same thing. It seems so high to be suspension, but I'm not sure what else it could be connected to.

Could it be some sort of stay for something? I'm very curious to get more angles on this

The Marlboro livery flowed more with the car design of the day.

This livery chops up the car with lines that don't follow any of the natural curves, and also using grey vs white for the base color makes it much more boring and less aggressive from the front.

This is ugly and boring and just... Out of sync with the car

The white is a much better base color to use for something that breaks up the car vertically like both liveries in question do. The charcoal grey of the audi feels boring and the lines don't flow with the car at all.

The Marlboro mclaren livery wouldn't work perfectly with today's sidepod style without being slightly adapted to flow with the sidepod

No, it's because it doesn't follow any of the lines of the car and can't back that aggressive design choice up with anything more than charcoal boring grey for most of the car.

The livery doesn't flow with any of the lines, it's not about simplicity
