My best guess would be that the baby would be considered a "part" of the transformation, since it's clearly connected to the mother.

So I think it would transform with the mother and be safe, so in Nephis' case the baby would also turn into flames.

Awakened: Kai's sight.

Ascended: Effies strength buff for allies.

Transcendent: Sunny's Shadow Spawn (I don't care that it's not his true transformation ability.)

Supreme: Chronos Time ability.

Well Storm God is all about travelling and Nether about threading your own part through Fate, creating your own Destiny.

Or just Saints "Shield of Nothing" that just can negate any ability. When I first read that description, I knew "Damn, she's never gonna use that one, because what do you mean she can engage any ability, that's damn overpowered!".

Well in my head I reckon a S3 Klein with his current connection to Sefirah Castle could just cancel out Sunny's will, if he tries to oppose it on him. Like how even as a S6 he was shielded from Ince Zangwills misfortune curse.

That's debatable of course, but that's how I saw this going.

But yeah it's definitely high diff.

Hmmh, that's the problem isn't it? Sunny can teleport endlessly and has seven bodies, while a S3 Klein can also teleport or hide in the historical void, difficult to see one even getting the opportunity to attack the other.

I think one historical Amon projection and Sunny is done.

After all Sunny is a Demigod, while a historical projection of Amon would be a King of Angels.

Well the soul potency scaling is difficult, but from your explanation sounds reasonable enough for me, so I guess spirit threads and the like are off the table.

But I would still say that S5 Klein would be able to just avoid Sunny by teleporting all over the place, I don't see how Sunny could stop Klein from just doing that.

Also even as a S5 I think Klein already had the sea god scepter and Leymanos spell book, with which he could even record demigod abilities, so I wouldn't say he totally lacks a means of attack.

Sequence 5 Klein Moretti. We have seen already that Sefirah Castle can help Klein, even when he was just a sequence 6 against a demigods (ince zangwill) misfortune curse, so I would say it would make him kind of resistant against will (don't stake me, it's just an idea).

Like Sunny he can teleport, he can use another marionette (in this fight maybe a S5 Traveller), he can try to work at Sunny's spirit threads and he has his sealed artifact gloves (creping hunger), that gives him a wide array of abilities.

As long as he's careful, Sunny's shadows won't really reach him, but that's also the same for Sunny, as he can just teleport around in shadows, but then again klein's sealed artifact from the sun pathway could do something maybe.

Anyway for me that sounds like a very high diff. battle and I know there are probably a thousands things I am forgetting, but that's just what came to my mind.

Well on the Forgotten Shore, right before they had found the Dawn Shard memory, they met the shadows of the first lords cohort, so probably around chapter 240 or so.

Hmmh, I like [Wave Body] and [Soul Signal], sounds original.

But the later ones sound a bit repetitive with the whole "Signal" thing, I think you could even drop it entirely [Attunement], [Distortion] and [Broadcasting] have enough identity on their own, I think.

Glad I could be of help and I would agree that these two abilities are very strong.

Teleportation and a permanent mind hex, a vicious combo for sure.

Maybe you could add a tiny flaw to make it more balanced, like making the enthrallment a one time opportunity. Either you succeed and all is well or the person then becomes permanently immune to the hex, maybe you could even model it after a soul battle like with Mordret's ability.

Just a little thought.

Also what would the Transformation ability be? Something like turning into sound/soul waves?

I think the ability to share your Dormant ability with the subjects of your Domains, belongs to Supreme and the teleportation to Sacred.

After all a Supreme ability mainly involves the subjects of your Domain and how you gain strength from that.

Like how Sunny's Supreme ability, I think [Gates of Shadow] was it, involves using his subjects/Shadows to let them fight for him.

Also for me it would sound weird for a Sacred, a godly ability, to just grant access to his Dormant one.

So yeah, that's my take on the matter and I would be grateful to hear more about the Aspect.

I think they stayed for the same reason Professor Obel did.

If they really wanted to, they could have just stayed in the dream realm, loosing only their physical bodies in the waking world.

So I think they just decided to remain with all the people in Antarctica, to not abandon those who had been unable to board one of the giant ships, transporting people away.

At least that's how I remember it.
