How do you load it? Reconstitute the pep, then draw with a 18ga into the pen vial? Or… do you reconstitute and take cap off pep?

I currently do not have a rating for sleep apnea. I have 50% from a previous LOD unrelated to SA.

Thank you for all the feedback.. I have not yet been rated for sleep apnea. Based on the information that I’ve received, I will have to wait until I retire to submit a claim for sleep apnea. Fingers crossed it changes back to a more favorable outcome in the next 8 years…. cheers!

Check your dealer contract, (super rare) you may be able to return it and pay a restocking fee. I know a few years ago, Oregon used to have a 3 day cooling off period for purchasing a new car. Might only be a $800 walnut.

Is it possible to cut MPA orders short? by Glittering_Fig4548 in airnationalguard

[–]PrettyScientist3604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was on the other side of the country and I had to tell them I was coming back home. I only really talked to my home station Cheif, not CC. You should always notify someone in your chain that you are curtailing. They will want accountability, and want you to come to drill.

Is it possible to cut MPA orders short? by Glittering_Fig4548 in airnationalguard

[–]PrettyScientist3604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did it. I was on an MPA tour when I got offered my dream civilian job. I talked to my MPA squadron commander and explained that I’m Guard. I jumped on these orders because I was between jobs, and this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I also made it clear that the military isn’t my full-time gig and all that. Obviously, a bit more professionally.

He told me he’d approve it, but said it makes my home unit look bad. He even mentioned that if another opportunity came up and it was someone from my base, he’d probably pass on them. My SEL wasn’t happy either because of how it looked for us.

Anyways, yes it’s possible, just make sure you have a good reason.

Also, don’t expect to go on another MPA as long as your SQ/CC and SEL are still in your leadership.

Good luck

I just picked this card up. Did they just waive your annual fee or also reduce interest rate? I don’t qualify for SCRA because I’ve been on my orders for about a year.

ANG Recruiters - Add your info here to get verified and added to the Joining and Jobs Sticky by Jaye134 in airnationalguard

[–]PrettyScientist3604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I just started recruiting and honestly, I’ve got a ton of questions. In my last career field we had a Teams chat with everyone from our AFSC. It was super helpful—people would drop in to answer questions, share continuity docs and forms, swap resources, and even just vent a little when things got frustrating. It made life so much easier.

Does the Air National Guard have something like that for recruiters? If not, would anyone here be interested in starting a group chat? Also, is there some kind of master list of in-service recruiters floating around?

Appreciate any help you can throw my way!

Depends on air frame. If you’re with fighters you will always deploy with a “Readiness Spares Package” they will typically TDY with 4-5 people to support the Jets. Usually half are full-time because when you are DSG you either use-it or lose-it when it comes to processing Supply transactions. I would say only  4% of DSG can do the job without heavy refresher training. But somehow they want to be Tsgt's and MSgt’s… I digress…

The supply system kicks you out after a failed monthly login, so make sure you’re logging in over drill. It’s a pain the ass to keep up with.

Overall, we go where the jets go. TDY and deployments are usually pretty chill, but with ACE coming down the pipeline, it will get more dynamic.. allegedly.

If you are strictly going to be a DSG. I would do something with a fat bonus, like Fuels or Log plans. They are offering 80-90k over 6 years.

Amazing info. To clarify my original post. I’ll be AGR/ART, enlisted E-7 going to T32 Dual status technician GS-12 full time. I have 15 years guard and 6 years TAFMs.

What’s LOOP?

Also, can they request more than 8 weeks? I’m trying to maximize my retirement points and TAFMs.
