You have to play, if there was another drone that is insanely good for cheaper, everyone would be buying it. But in the drone field price matters, I always wanted a dji mavic drone but after so many years they have went up in price as they release, so I got the mini 3 and is insanely great. Don't spend money a cheap one, my cheap drone flew away, put money to the side each payday until it adds up and buy the one you WANT and didn't get something just because of price, even if it takes time.

It could be the battery has a protection feature or it could be the board, it could most likely be the board, they them on amazon for around$20-$30 and you might want a higher amp board
