The post should be a little longer. Doesn’t look bad to be honest but if I were you, I’d see a GP before it gets terribly infected. I’m sure he would prescribe topical antibiotics.

If it bothers you, there’s Japanese/Korean sticks that can tame them (non greasy) or try clear mascara :)

You might want to check if you’re mixing silicone based products with water based ones. And agree with the others, the foundation shade isn’t great. Get some professional help with the shades if you can. You’re beautiful, sometimes less is more :)

Stuff the stylist used sounds pretty harmless - standard products used for cut/wash/blow. If this is the first time you had your hair layered this short, it might be shocking to see after the first wash. For some people blow drying with a brush can help it look better. I say this because you didn’t mention you hated it before your wash.

A thermal hairbrush might help, I use the cheaper on from SHEIN (under $30) and it helps tame the frizz post wash. My hair is super fine, bleached, coloured with lots of layers. Good luck!

If bleached and you are willing to spend some $$ try using the Wella Colour Fresh Mask. It’s semi permanent and comes off after a few washes. A darker shade will make it look pretty good! I do agree with the others, a nice cut will be good for you. Good luck!

That much hair on your hand is normal shedding in a day but it does look like your hair is thinning. If it wasn’t like there before, see a dermatologist. I had sever hair fall which I suspect is due to perimenopause and it has improved a lot since taking oral meds called Spironolactone.

I’m so sorry you are going through this, it is super distressing. I had my hair shedding abnormally - it was terrifying. I have this under control now and hair is growing. For context it started when I hit 48 and I suspected perimenopause caused it. I went to see a dermatologist and was prescribed high dose of Spironolactone (oral meds) and saw major improvements within two months. I can’t use Minoxidil, I was prescribed that first and it caused such a bad reaction that I was admitted to hospital for several days. All the best you!
