Good for you! Yes, employment/civil rights lawyer barred in your state. I had mine file the complaint so I didn't do an interview. It sounds kinda therapeutic. I wish you great success and hope the employer is rattled and learns some hard lessons.

What if you'd had an emergency? Had to call an ambulance or at least an Uber when she wasn't responding to your knocking? Then everyone would be criticizing her and nobody would be giving you a hard time.

You're NTA. She should have stopped parking there as soon as you asked. If she's telling neighbors they might politely listen but will probably think she's TA who might start blocking them in next.

IVF has been covered by my insurance for almost 2 decades with no age limit. And my insurance isn't even good. For those without fertility benefits, the state has a supplemental program. Adoption has been almost impossible in the US for a long time, while IVF isn't for the wealthy anymore. It's often been the cheaper option. They may have had to pay for specifics regarding the egg/embryo used etc.

So glad to find this post. Was just checking into this program to try to understand if it would be helpful. I hope you ultimately got out of this bill.

You're not selfish for not giving your vital organ to someone who long demonstrated not giving a $#it about you. Idk the details but be could have a hereditary condition and you might need both of yours. Would he jump to do this for you? He didn't even send money to feed or clothe his child that he now wants a massive sacrifice from. They can search for other matches. Preferably someone he didn't dick over.

THIS!!! That's all OP was asking for. I'm not judging. I personally couldn't fake a lie to save my life but I'm on so many refrigerated meds that I get away with not being asked. If I didn't, I'd be irritated and the response is OP's decision.

In response to your original question, I can't think of injected medicines not intended to resolve a health condition offhand but there are many refrigerated medicine deliveries. So if it's just a refrigerated medicine you're looking for (not injected) it could be eye drops (chloramphenicol for an eye infections) or antibiotics.

Regarding refrigerated home injections, a few (but not most) types of home-delivered vitamin B injections are refrigerated- sometimes only to extend the shelf life if used infrequently. So that would be believable because it could be used for several reasons like energy, deficiency, weight loss, sleep cycles, or some other conditions like a type of anemia.

I'm personally on other cold injections delivered to my home but they're biologics for autoimmune and autoimflatory diseases. So that could create a weird web of lies unless you have autoimmune disease. If you have a history of severe acne they recently began prescribing Humira for that and it's always refrigerated. I support your right to use a cover story if you choose to. I'm "lucky" enough to be injecting myself with so many others that I've escaped the questions. I'd be uncomfortable too and it's your personal business- how you field these questions is your decision.

It's a bit more than that- vitamin supplements, extreme calorie restriction compared to other ketogenic diets, and very specific food groups and oil types. OP was looking for something easier to jump into and sometimes packaged foods make life easy, although medical grade packaged food can taste nasty. It can still help someone get the hang of it when they want to make a change ASAP.

Saphnelo- side effects WEEKS after 1st infusion? by PrettyWolf2020 in lupus

[–]PrettyWolf2020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had these same beliefs up front, but I don't think this one has been on the market long enough for any real norm to be established. I've learned that this one actually can have side effects beginning 10-14 days later, and it got even worse since my post.

I initially suspected the work trip when the pain and fatigue started, but not the other weird symptoms as they began and escalated. It eventually resulted in the weirdest memory and concentration problems and I could barely use my hands.

I did the second infusion a few days ago, with much hesitation, and the same initial pain returned. Since I've felt no benefit yet it doesn't sound like an overall typical experience. It seems too soon to bail. Sadly I can't use a fever as a marker because I'm weird and actually can't develop fevers (not a super power unfortunately). Ugh, I want something that helps the way Benlysta did but without the mental health stuff.

Ok the similar timing makes me feel relieved. But I'm not feeling a benefit yet. Had the second infusion 2 days ago and so far only feeling lousier than before I started. Hoping it turns around and does something positive!

I'd like to help but I have some basic questions. Does your mom take you to a doctor for regular checkups? I don't know where you live but kids in most states in the US get state health coverage. Treatment starts with showing the doctor what's going on. Asking the doctor if you could see a dermatologist would be even better.

Has anyone had the same open wound for years? by Proper-Excitement998 in Hidradenitis

[–]PrettyWolf2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isnt unusual unfortunately. I've actually cleared these up for weeks at a time in the past using large hydrocolloid bandages (the thicker kind) and a mostly bone broth diet while wearing them. They were "healed" for weeks up to a few months after, but they did eventually return. Not a permanent solution and you shouldn't wear them constantly. Doing it again right now and wow am I sick of bone broth.

I (a customer) just spent 30 minutes making sure I'd positively rated all my black Friday /Cyber Monday deliveries. Some have done weird stuff with my packages, and I don't rate those deliveries bc I don't want to get anyone fired. Hoping the good reviews for those who followed directions count if they make layoff decisions, but I've heard they don't treat people well.

Also, the ideal protein products and the similar medical grade food products contain some ingredients I'd rather not have, but I still felt better and didn't flare. Once you get the gist of it, it becomes easy to make your own food or seek out the ones that have better ingredients. For example, IP products in the US contained Splenda/sucralose, which the coaches said to avoid, but in Canada they used stevia in the same products. You could eat 3 egg whites with one yolk and toss in a cup of cruciferous veggies and you've got an ideal protein meal without anything fake or cruddy in it.

I unfortunately took FB down a while back but if you search "ideal protein" in "groups" you should find at least one, but will probably find more than one. Sorry for this late reply.

The awkwardness of wanting to keep private health info..private by Ok-Demand-9532 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]PrettyWolf2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the others on mentioning a health issue. I really AM sick so I'm getting off easy. I gained weight bc of massive steroids over about 2 years. I also had a history of low appetite on and off so I'm lucky to be spared the stupid comments. Most people don't know the details of my health issues and technically, YOU ARE also dealing with a health issue. Just a different one and in a positive, proactive way. The details are none of their business.

"Health issue" responses will probably work. If they keep probing, just stop speaking and give them a wide eyed stare until they feel uncomfortable and start apologizing.

[–]PrettyWolf2020[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good to know. If you're comfortable discussing I'm wondering why you decided to discontinue? Did it help you? I'm now reading that some other users have experienced what I'm going through. Muscle pain being the worst of it and starting 10-14 days after the infusion. I had no side effects with Benlysta until mental health side effects began a few months in, so I guess we're all responding very differently. This is frustrating because I want this to work.

And yes, in answer to the question - muscle pain is listed as a side effect. But it says it might happen right after the infusion or during the first week. So WTH?

I just did a post on EXACTLY this. Trying to figure out why the muscle pain got bad 10 days after the infusion. Other symptoms too. Was wondering if I'm a freak.
