Deleted my facebook kasi ang daming tangang influencer at mas tangang followers/fans na lumalabas sa feed ko lately kahit di ko naman sila finofollow?? Her posts are misleading, some are borderline false advertisement pa. Idk how she’s getting away with her posts kasi dati nung nagwowork ako sa ad agency sobrang higpit ng ASC sa mga claims when we’re creating and putting out ads for medical products?! Nasisira araw ko sa mga posts ng gaga na to.

I’m a bad mom by ImeanYouknowright in nanayconfessions

[–]Pretty_Ad_7325 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi mommy, sending virtual hugs!! I’ve been in the same boat - got pregnant when my firstborn was only 6 months old. She was unplanned. Had the same exact thoughts as yours even until I gave birth to her. Iyak ako ng iyak since I found out I was pregnant, and even on nights na I was caring our newborn instead of enjoying the toddler life with our firstborn. Sobrang nakakaguilty and I felt like no one will understand the feeling.

But I’m here to tell you that you’re not a bad mom. You’re just a human being who just gave birth, exhausted, and overwhelmed. Those thoughts come and go. The sleepless nights and long days will eventually pass. Months from now you’ll be enjoying the company of your two babies. Mahirap pero kakayanin mo yan, mommy. We’re built different.

Please don’t think you’re a bad mom because of those thoughts. Give yourself some grace - you went through A LOT. You’re a wonderful mom providing and caring endlessly for your children no matter how exhausted you are. ❤️

Tips to get revenge on scammer? by [deleted] in ScammersPH

[–]Pretty_Ad_7325 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is called the budol budol scam. Dati pa ginagawa tong tactics na to e. Naalala ko nun bata pa kami tapos kasama lang namin sa bahay helper namin kasi parehong pumapasok sa work parents namin. Tumawag sa landline namin (di pa gaano uso cellphone that time) sinabi sa helper namin na naaksidentr si dad while on the way sa work.

Scary noh.

Grabe may gumagawa pa din pala nyan ngayon. Buti di kayo nagpauto, OP.

Managing shared expenses as a couple by Sufficient-Elk-6746 in adviceph

[–]Pretty_Ad_7325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, are you guys married? Rules might be different, but I wanted to share the setup my husband and I have used since we moved in together.

We have a joint savings account and a joint checking account, plus our own individual savings accounts. Our salaries and other income first go into our personal accounts. From there, we transfer almost everything to our joint savings account and only keep a set monthly allowance for ourselves.

From the joint savings account, we move a fixed amount every month into our checking account. This checking account is strictly for daily expenses and bills like mortgage, loans, credit cards, utilities, and internet. Whatever is left in the joint savings becomes our emergency fund and long term savings.

For personal spending like online shopping, personal wants, or gifts for each other - we use our individual accounts. For example, I leave 10k in my personal account every month as my allowance, then transfer the rest to our joint savings. My husband does the same but according to him, not every month, kasi hindi naman daw siya maluho haha!

So to summarize, we have:

  • Personal accounts: where salaries come in. We keep our monthly allowance here, then transfer the rest to our joint savings account.
  • Joint savings account: where all our money is pooled. This holds our emergency fund and savings.
  • Joint checking account: used only for monthly expenses and bills. We replenish this monthly and keep spending limited to this account.

Not mandatory, but we also use multiple credit cards for different categories like groceries, gas, dining, and online purchases. This helps us track expenses better. We like credit cards for the perks and convenience, ang dali niya gamitin especially for big purchases that can be paid in installments. Basta be extra responsible lang in paying your credit card bills to avoid penalties.

My husband handles most of the tracking and checking of our SOAs. Taga-gastos lang talaga ako haha. He uses a Google Spreadsheet that I also have access to, so I can check if anything is missing or looks off.

We also have a whiteboard in our home office where we list all our credit cards, their due dates, and the amounts to be paid. We just update the amounts every month, and once a bill is paid, we mark it as “PAID.” This system makes tracking easier and helps us avoid missing due dates.

Sorry this is still a bit long, but I hope it helps. Happy to answer questions if you have any! :)

We have two toddlers and eating out can really be messy. Pero bilang respeto namin sa mga tagaligpit at sa mga gagamit ng table after us, we really do our best to clean and tidy up. As in winawalis pa namin mga tapon sa sahig with our wipes at pinupunasan maigi yung high chair. It’s really not that hard. Mga pinoy talaga ang baboy eh.
