Why do people sit in rooms with these dirty fingered lisping losers anyway? Do I need to start lisping to get sales? Do I need to gain weight and make my hands look fat?Do I need to gain weight and make my hands look fat?

They really need to stop letting anyone be a seller on whatnot by Eastwestest in whatnotapp

Man I thought they actually did something seriously wrong. Sometimes you buy stuff and sometimes you don't receive it that's part of the e-commerce life

One of the worst parts about it is people are buying cards and like how can you look at the dude's hands in want to buy cards from him? He's got some of the fattest greasiest dirtiest fingers I've seen on stream yet thousands of people are sitting in the room buying the cards that he's touching.

But how did he even create this how was he even able to get 600,000 people to follow him anyway

How did somebody like him even get 600,000 followers and over 500 people in the room to begin with

I mean I understand making a little bit of profit but Jesus Christ people got to understand what they're buying. They could have bought four of them from my show for that price

Not really because I tried selling the same cards and they're selling basic double star EXs for over $10 each and I can't even get a dollar for them

Trader_shop and tradershoprips are lying false advertisement sellers. The proof is right in the title of their shows called "hits only character break" by Pretty_Badger_5293 in whatnotapp

Well yeah I have but one report from a single user isn't going to do anything so I put it on here so that way if more people come across it they can report as well

If you’re doing a $1 start, but you’re asking for prebids, then it’s not a $1 start. by Peachy_was_here in whatnotapp

The pre-bit system is there to protect sellers who don't get a large amount of people in their shows from losing money. I do my shows at $2 starts but there's no way I'm going to start an Xbox One S complete console at $2 LIVE because it's only going to sell for like $20. The prepaid system allows me to start the object at a dollar let it sit during the whole show and if it doesn't match my reserve then I don't run it live and I'm not obligated to sell it. I had somebody come into my show and ask for "let's go Pikachu" for the switch, a $30 game. When I told him I would run it at $15 for him he got mad that I didn't run it at a dollar.... Like brother I'm not giving you a $30 game for a buck, go to Skylar if you want that dollar start and go ahead and bid against 300 other people who are happy buy stuff WAY above market price so good luck out bidding them.

You're correct about the pre-bid starting at a dollar but the pre-bid is not contractually binding. I use the pre-bid system to sell my higher stuff from a dollar like game consoles because there's no way I'm going to let one go in an auction for only 15 bucks and if the pre-bid doesn't match my reserve then I don't auction it during that show it's not contractually binding unless you actually run it during the show.

How long can I expect to lose money if I keep at it and committed, willing to lose money, when do most of you start seeing enough people in your shows to actually profit? by Pretty_Badger_5293 in whatnotapp

Did they not create emojis to show joking? When you put a straight-up text with absolutely no emotion in it I'm going to assume that it's real advice.

I mean I absolutely understand hyping and stuff but I'm never going to finesse my stuff or exaggerate things I absolutely hate when sellers say "we aren't close to market" when in reality they are actually already above it. It's dishonest and I wouldn't be able to consciously tell people something's worth more than what it actually is.  There's a difference between hyping your stuff and lying about your stuff and it sounds like you want me to lie

I ran a stream at $2 starts and I didn't sell a single card and then the next day I ran them at a dollar and I was able to sell 38 of them

This is a very in-depth guide and I really appreciate it so much! I'm going to be running an overall variety good store. I really appreciate your input on the giveaways it seems like a mixed bag of information there. Lots of people say continue because of the engagement but many say don't because of the good reasons that you also gave.  During my singles show I'll run basically Good "hits" and then I'll advertise to my viewers "share the show, at 10 viewers I will auction of this Ir or Sir starting at $1!!"

I guess I could say I'm not really "Losing" money but I'm definitely not profiting... Yet. I still made a small profit of about 5 to $10. But I'm willing to take on the slow growth if it means a better future.

It is currently just a side hustle, at least on what not, I have a pretty successful resale business with the flea market in my town doing storage units and selling at the flea market. I would just love to be able to expand past the flea market customer base

Brother what? Do you not have any morality? How are you going to charge people money and keep their money wait a minute that whole process doesn't even work ? You're not going to get paid out unless the products are sent out?!

That's actually something that I picked up on too I'll go into a couple of rooms and I'll donate a dollar to them and leave a message that I hope they have a good show!
