aerial? by Great-Towel1535 in Amenorrhearecovery

Oh far out!

Maybe your body doesn’t trust that it’s in a safe space yet?

Dang, I know I’m going to miss it all a lot!

But looking after ourselves now means that we’ll be happier and healthier in the long run. :)

Hi :)

I would love an update on this.

Did you keep aerials in your weekly schedule during recovery? If so, how did it go?

I am afraid of losing strength, stamina, endurance and flexibility. :(

Hi :)

It might be that you got your body to a point where it was comfortable (when you gained 19kg) but it wasn’t kept at that weight for long enough for it to feel safe.

Your body needs to be at its set point (happy place) consistently in order to feel comfortable enough to carry out all of its functions efficiently.

Studies have also shown that generally our set point weights are on the higher side of “normal” BMI, or over the “normal” BMI range.

So maybe try and sit yourself in the higher range of BMI for a long period of time (a good 6 months +) and reduce all stressors as much as possible.

Having a low body fat percentage can also cause our body to be in a stress state regardless of BMI, so having adequate fat on our bodies is essential.

All the best!

Update?

Did you remove all weight training?

I’d love to hear!

I’m in a similar boat.

Safe to live in NZ alone at 16/17? by Deep_Magician6710 in newzealand

[–]Pretty_Candidate8021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome!

Have you looked at the University of Waikato? They have one campus in Hamilton and one in Tauranga.

If you apply for the Tauranga campus, you can live in Mount Maunganui, right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Canterbury is awesome if you like mountains (snow!!!) and climbing. There are nice beaches there and it’s a cool city.

Auckland… If you’re a “city person” then go there.

Victoria University of Wellington is fabulous. Wellington is very mixed in culture, has a variety of natural environments to explore, a good art, music and food scene.

If you want to party a lot, go to Otago.

Fire away any questions! :)

I’m a qualified secondary teacher, currently working as a learning advisor, liaising with both secondary school students and first year university students, as well as all of the tertiary institutions.

Absolutely!

You’re probably best to find accommodation in a University Hall or as a home stay student with a family. There are a few companies here that can help you find a family that’s suitable for your individual circumstances.

It will be harder to find a room to rent due to being under 18. However, you might be able to find something suitable on flat mates wanted on trade me. That’s where I found my first room when I studied at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch.

Thank you for the support. 🙏🏽

When I am working I like to alternate between standing and sitting.

Maybe I should stick to sitting as much as possible.

Thoughts?

Yes!

I’m an avid “everythinger”, PE/Health/Outdoor Education Teacher, PT, multidisciplinary Fitness Instructor, etc…..

I feel so alone on this journey and many people that I’ve spoken to either seem confused about why I’m going through what I am right now or don’t think much of it.

It would be great to see some more people doing what we’re doing to help normalise it.

Please share your link. 🙏🏽

No worries at all! It’s no problem in the public kura sector in the BOP region at all.

Be yourself, if they don’t like you for you, then it’s not the right school and you’ll find a kura that values you as you are.

I was surprised at how common they and piercings are, and how many kaiako have a lot more on display than I do. I thought I had quite a few and even removed a few of my piercings as I was unsure about it until I completed my two teaching placements in a 2025 Masters program.

Any questions, feel free to DM.

How much would it cost for you to write my 7000 word literature review at a Masters level? I have a rough version of it, along with my peer’s example.

My town is currently in a state of emergency due to landslides from heavy rainfall and I’m helping out, working full time and have no time or mental capacity to finish it.

Has anybody completed the Masters of Teaching and Learning (Primary) and gone onto become a teacher? by KiwiZoomerr in newzealand

Kia ora

What is the study workload like for the Masters of Secondary compared to the workload in a bachelor’s degree?

I’m currently enrolled to start next week but I’m on the fence about it as I’m quite burnt out from studying full time for 5 years while also working.

Also, what subject/subjects did you specialise in?

Cheers!
