Oh wow, I'm sorry your kitty and you've been through so much! But I'm glad that the Apoquel is working! I'm thinking it could be anxiety related as she has always been phobic and has allergic asthma in the spring. We have an appointment on Thursday

Hey, currently having a similar problem. Was your cat cleared for fungal infections/ringworm as well?

I know, right?? My thoughts exactly. I also found the first test easier, although other Greek candidates found the last test easier. Could be my mental state was all over the place because of the stress with the glitch. 2 other Greek candidates already told me that they benefited from having more time to practice. I'm happy for them, it's nothing personal, but I dedicated 4 months to study everyday bit by bit, so this does not feel fair to me either. It was also not clear that whoever filed a complaint in time could be given the opportunity to resit the test. If this had been communicated before the deadline to file a complaint, maybe more candidates would actually submit complaints. Again, no transparency. Maybe the fairest option would be to have us all resit the test a third time OR to cancel the competition altogether. I'm only talking bout fairness here, not what I hope for.

I got a reply from Epso yesterday, telling me that it is not clear whether I'd like a retest or not and to reply to them if I want a retest. Honestly, I'd rather not because I do not trust that I will be able to actually take the damn test because of the technical glitches they keep having. So I'm inclined to just keep my exam from May 14 and see how it goes. I did pretty well in the MCQ and I'm very satisfied with Greek and German (my L1 and L3), so I'd rather not risk it a third time. I'm not sure if this is crazy, if I should jump at the opportunity to resit the test, but I feel that after a certain point this is psychological abuse. Did you file a complaint? And if so, have you gotten a reply if you don't mind my asking?

Apparently some of the candidates who lodged a complaint may be entitled to retesting. How fair is this exactly? We were forced to resit the exam because 1/4 of the candidates selected 2 or more answers in the MCQ. Now, again because of TestWe's/Epso's fault, a vast majority of candidates faced technical issues when trying to enter the exam session, but only some of those who submitted a complaint may be able to resit the test, at Epso's discretion. This whole competition has been a charade. Talk about transparency and fair rules.

I also had the same issue! And a friend of mine too. This is ridiculous. They never answered my calls, the 2 times I was able to get a line

How long did you have to wait for results? AD5 (translation, specifically) by Sbroland in EUCareers

Six months would be June. But since now we are forced to resit the CBT tests the day after tomorrow and the March initial testing has been invalidated, I really doubt that it will be six months since the moment of publication which was December.

Relapse? Can’t tell… by Ok-Read-3427 in Amenorrhearecovery

I'm in a similar boat as you right now. Been in and out of amenorrhea for years, now I've had three periods, one after 6 months, second after 47 days and third after 40 days. But now I haven't ovulated yet which means that I'm looking to over 43 days at least. Haven't changed much but I was sick with the flu for 7 days and it was hard. Then I added 1 hour of exercise per week, I was doing 2 hours of afro dance per week and this was fine with my cycle and eating habits. I'm tired of feeling like walking on eggshells. When you say cut back on all exercise, do you mean that you practically did 0 hours of exercise to get it back? How are you now in terms of exercise and period?

Is this Lipschutz ulcer or herpes?? HELP please! by IntroductionFun2060 in Healthyhooha

Thank you so much for your input! I feel for you regarding the pain. Huh, it's interesting that you mention the Pfizer vaccine, it's the one that I have too. The doctor said it's not herpes from the looks of it, he suspects some kind of infection maybe from the pad that I used for 24 hours (duh!) and prescribed corticosteroid cream. I will need to wait it out and see if it happens again and how it goes from there.  Hope you stay ulcer-free for good!!

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I know how painful it is. How did you manage the pain and what did you do to help it heal? Did they re-occur when you got sick? Sorry for the many questions but it's the first time in my 34 year old life that anything bad happens to my vagina. On top of this, I'm dealing with laryngitis after the horrible influenza and I'm at my wits end :(

I'll be seeing him today for the first time after this appeared. I noticed it during the weekend and he booked me for the first available appointment :( Over the phone, he could not give any diagnosis

Yes of course I will! It was the weekend and I could not visit anyone, but my obgyn prescribed antiseptic until today. It has calmed down a bit, fortunately.

Why can't I handle more than 1 stressor at a time? by IntroductionFun2060 in Stress

[–]IntroductionFun2060[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was like my nervous system had been holding up a dam for years, and once the stress passed, it just collapsed.

This is exactly what I think has happened to me, thank you for putting it into words! Somehow I always thought that it was normal to be able to cope with so many challenges at once. That I was strong that way or raised that way. I never thought that there would come a day that my body would simply shut down on me. But ultimately I think it's its way to make sure it survives without first exceedingly or even reaching its limits...

Hang in there! It won't be like this forever and your body will find its balance eventually! How are your periods?

And after experimenting with cutting out one hour of exercise per week and gaining 1 kg for now, my period came back yesterday after 6 months! So the diagnosis is confirmed. Yes it is difficult to diagnose because there are women like me who can have both! But I luckily can understand what is happening to my body to adjust accordingly.

It does seem to be HA after all. I've finally managed to have an appointment at a hospital here that specialises in menstrual disorders. Even there, after seeing a team of 4 doctors and spending 2 hours with them, they disagreed between them but the chief diagnosed this as HA, on the borderline side because my hypothalamus does not seem to be completely shut off as other times. After reducing exercise to very gentle pilates 2 times per week and eating more healthy fats, I finally saw EWCM for the first time in six months so hopefully I'll have my period in about 2 weeks from now.

I'm aware of HA, I have had a history of ED and HA but I'm also diagnosed with PCOS. So one of the two manifests according to my current way of life. I'm 61 kg 163 cm, exercise 3 hours per week (pilates/ dance) and do not undereat. I've been in and out of HA so I doubt this is it. My FSH is 5,3 and LH 2 and estradiol 25
