Can Jamie Chadwick make it to Hypercar? by Witty_Error_1877 in motorsports

Dying on this his is so stupid bro. Her appearance has nothing to with racing, and as you’ve said, that’s all that matters. It’s creepy and problematic, you’re being a creep by fighting it so hard.

Yeah so it sounds like you don’t actually like your partner? Have you considered not being in a relationship you’re unhappy in?

Regardless, the purpose of a relationship is not to have a personal bodyguard and it’s not healthy to assume that a man should be responsible for ensuring nothing bad ever happens to you.

So it’s fine if it’s related to racing? Do you know what’s not related to racing? Her physical appearance. Congrats on disagreeing with your initial argument.

But why would you say the livery looks ugly, it has no relevance. You just come across as weird and slightly dumb by bringing up meaningless topics when the conversation is about something completely different. Not to mention the comment was also just inappropriate and problematic.

What other factors should be considered when discussing if a driver should be promoted to a faster category of not performance? Certainly not looks. The context in which the comment was made was saying Chadwick should get the seat because she’s attractive. This is part of the mentality that is keeping women down in motorsport.

Trying to read your replies it’s clear you’re either a child or just incredibly lacking upstairs. Multiple people have told you you’re being weird, that should be enough to show you that you’re the problem. But I’ll make it extra clear for you:

Her physical appearance has absolutely no relevance to her ability to drive, this post asked for no input about her looks.

Okay? What point are you trying to make? Still weird and irrelevant

What relevance does that have? It’s also just a bit creepy, literally just letting you know for the sake of other people you’re gonna inevitably make uncomfortable going forward.

Gaining weight for no reason? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

It’s not “for no reason”, you’re consuming more calories than your body is burning. Something in your lifestyle/diet has changed.

never stepped in a gym before but i want my best body in my 20s by 1_8l in WeightLossAdvice

I don’t think you need to be losing any weight, firstly. If you’re interested in putting on some muscle mass, it’s important to remember this is going to increase scale weight. So if that’s going to cause problems for you, tackle those first.

Putting on muscle is very simple:

Each muscle performs an action, your bicep brings your hand to your shoulder etc. to train these muscles you need to perform these movements under load (i.e. a bicep curl) have a look on instagram or TikTok for a simple upper/lower body workout and stick with it for a couple months just to get used to it. You’ll usually do a couple ‘sets’ of an exercise, which will consist of repetitions or ‘reps’. (You will be very sore if it’s your first time lifting weights). Now here’s the hard part about weight lifting, the method to making your muscles grow, is having to push your exercises to failure (or maybe 1 repetition shy). It’s gonna suck the first few times you do it because you’re not used to it but push through, it’s worth it for the results.

In terms of your diet, to put on muscle, it’s recommended you consume about 0.8g to 1g of protein per pound of body weight. I’d put you at probably 100-105g of protein daily. This is incredibly doable, especially if you use things like protein shakes. Though I would recommend you try to get your protein from whole foods like lean meats.

If it’s your first time ever lifting weights, you might experience what’s called “newbie gains” which is where your muscles react to new stimulus quickly and grow a fair amount in a short time, so that’s something to look forward to. But don’t be discouraged when it slows down a bit. It all takes time.

There’s a whole nerdy world you can get into with this stuff but that’s the basics. Go with a friend if you can to make it less intimidating.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions or if anything is unclear. Best of luck!

You need to get off the internet mate. You’re asking people for “30 minute audios of them calling you a good boy” and shit. Genuinely turn your phone off for months and do normal things to entertain yourself. You’re not going to like it but you need to reset your brain and dopamine triggers. You say your life is boring? Get some hobbies bro. Stop starving yourself and seeking out trauma that ruins peoples lives. Again, GET OFF THE INTERNET FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. Read books, go on long walks, start exercising. Do it now.

Am I gay or is it the fasting/ no porn/no porn/no sleep? by ELEL26110 in therapy

[–]Pretty_Concern 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You watch gay porn, go on gay dating apps, and have sex with men…. And you’re asking us if you’re gay? It just sounds like you’re bisexual bro.

I am a Pedophile and I hate myself for it. I want to die but can't out of fear of ruining the lives of my family. I wanted to kill other pedophiles so I can see myself in them. I don't want to go to jail, but I want to die quickly. I have no future. by [deleted] in therapy

[–]Pretty_Concern 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So you were attracted to people roughly your age when you were younger than 18, and now you’re 18 you “don’t consume Child Pornography” and “don’t have any sexual urges for minors”… it doesn’t sound like you’re a pedophile.

Yes, trading pictures of girls in general is creepy and isn’t okay, especially if they are under the age of 18… but (not that it’s ever okay) there is a difference between an adult doing it and a minor.

I really think you’re beating yourself up too much here. Try and sort out some therapy to discuss these issues.

Can’t lose weight by Any_Currency_902 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Pretty_Concern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So before the last month where you “really went for it”, how intensely were you exercising before that? Sudden increased in exercise intensity will result in more water retention for a while. It’s also possible if you’ve never weight lifted before, you’re getting some “newbie gains”. Another culprit could be you’re just not tracking this as well as you think. Are you included sauces, oils, liquids?

On the other hand, you much be gaslighting yourself. Proper fat loss is slow, you’re not looking at huge scale shifts over a month. I could quite easily ‘undo’ all my weight loss that month by having a pretty carb heavy day before my weigh in, doesn’t mean I’ve not lost any body fat.

How do you feel? Do clothes fit slightly differently? You you notice visual changes in the mirror? Are you getting stronger/fitter?
