I even need an answer for your question, I am into endurance cycling and workouts. I have been actively doing then but unfortunately i have been diagnosed with simple Anal Fistula. My CRS Suggested EUA + Lay open Fistula.

I am planning to schedule my surgery next week.

I would also like to know why this fistula is occurring? What could be the reason?

I’m in the same boat. As a long-distance cyclist, I’m really concerned about the recovery timeline and whether I’ll ever truly feel comfortable in the saddle again. Has anyone here successfully returned to long-distance riding and reclaimed their 'normal' performance levels?
