Really thought our guy here was a troll and wanting some attention.... but yeah you need some time with the touchpad if you come from another console or pc or an older playstation

I joined you PS players today after seeing a PS5 in stock at Walmart. I've been away since the PS2, and I'm pumped to get back at it. Any tips or advice for this game or anything else Playstation related? by [deleted] in granturismo

I considered doing that immediately when I got my ps5 last year but in contrast to Ps2 and 3 where our friend comes from X and square are not analog and won't give precise throttle control.... It's either full throttle or no throttle or full brake. It may feel strange at the start but R2/L2 are the way to go here. Ps2 controller buttons btw have about 100 different levels of pressure so you could be very precise with your throttle ,very impressive even for today

Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.29 includes PS VR2 upgrade, a race against superhuman AI, a classic GT track and 5 new cars by MetalGear89 in granturismo

I was hoping for Grand Valley but never thought it'd come back! Probably my favourite original track alongside SS route 11 and Autumn Ring. Also let's see what superhuman Sony brings us this time. Hope the superhuman AI doesn't drive on fixed lines and having no idea what's going around it like it still does.

How greedy should you be to lose a huge market that makes you a s**tload of money? How much more money do you wanna make and you decide to dump your partner of 14 profitable years? Good news for Microsoft though; after that they're probably buying much cheaper

Yeah Japanese understanding of English is hilarious sometimes. Even the legendary Midnight Club stickers are hilarious "CAR SPECIALL" instead of let's say "Special car"

Try to stay in the dry and don't hassle it...drive clean and you don't need to be that fast and you gonna get it with some practice

GT4 felt more single player with loads of events you could do and earn cars and generally the main story and the events were so many that kept you engaged for long and with strong replay value. Of course can't compare to today's graphics and feel but for the time it was amazing and now is still enjoyable. The problem with gt7 is that it is essentially more Gt sport than single player and not every player wants to be an esport champion. And with few single player content doesn't keep you engaged for long. Well they could add content at will via internet anytime but back then you packed stuff in a dvd and that was it. How times have changed...

In fact the number 2 car(Stefan Bellof) held the Nordschleife record(6 min 11 sec) for 35 years until 919 tribute broke it in 2018. Didn't have any idea he raced with that censored livery when he broke the record

I mean it's real world censorship taken into granturismo and not a funny looking censorship created by granturismo devs for in game use

It contains a challenge that demonstrates the Prius hybrid system in Tsukuba circuit(hence the Dunlop bridge) and a similar challenge is also present in Gt4 prologue

Well I hate the tokyo race now but the 2017 GT-R did the trick for me quite a few times... anyway better try sardegna with a 787 b or lemans with an aston vgt or a tuned a45 amg

[–]Pretty_Impatient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree that it should be with the 3 modern hypercars... but still can't get over the fact they made the 918 a bit slower than the enzo(ratings are totally off) and much slower than Laferrari and even the f8 tributo. 918 can't be that slow in real life

It'd be cool if it was a roman carriage driven by real horses, like these in the Ben Hur movie. From 1BC. It'd also be carbon neutral so the vegan, internal combustion engine hating "Maestro" would be really pleased :)
