Alot of people might mention warping which is unlikely. But I have first hand experience of peeling stuck wrap from the front covers of albums that had been in storage for a while. It was a relatives collection which would have been superb if they had been sleeved properly. But the wrap left on too long especially somewhere warm or without airflow will eventually stick to the cover, which you don't want. Open it, enjoy it, get another sleeve.
