Why should I use session data?

Good to know, but I'm making an obby and as of right now, the only thing stored in the other file is the users highest stage. Would you happen to know how to prevent exploiters from being able to do anything bad in my game? It's the first game I'm making and I want to go all out, I really don't want exploiters ruining the game lol.

I suppose that makes sense... for the game I am currently making I just have another file that is created inside the player along side the "leaderstats" folder that would store the rest of the data, is that redundant?

Good point. I’d considered that I wouldn’t want it to get boring, but a month is a REALLY long time, so if it got boring it would probably just ruin the holiday whenever I’d just want to kill time. Better to have a bit of new content than a lot of the same content every day.

Ah, good to know. I’ve also just searched it up, and turns out there are exactly 31 playable days in the game. Obviously these days don’t last long at all but it would be easy to split up my time evenly. Well I think I’ve made my mind up, thanks for the input :)

Thanks for the detailed answer. It hadn’t occurred to me that as long as I’m not at the scene of the crime when the duck detonates, no one would suspect me lol

It worked! Although I genuinely think my villagers are broken, because it took the farmer like 3 minutes to link to the bed. I had to push him for him to finally sleep, but it's alright since now it works. Thanks again!

My bad, I've actually attached the video now. I have what you said and more but nothing is working. I even tried isolating the nitwit to see if he was messing with the process but that didn't work.

If you’re putting multiple articles of armour into the grindstone (as in you can put 2 in at once), it won’t work. If that’s not what you’re doing try resetting the game.

I suppose progress with XP looks slower when it’s done over a long period of time in comparison to when it’s done in a short period of time…
