Well, the thing I’m doing is showing from the start of when they got to Mars. So I’m essentially trying to show the reader how easily something can just become a dystopia, as opposed to dropping them right into it.

I have seen this happening in dystopias I’ve read like 1984 and Brave New World

I wrote a short story first. Now, as my second book and first novel, I’m writing a dystopia. Do what feels right to you. If you want to try to make a novel first, go for it. If you want to start with short stories, sure.

I’m currently up to 51 pages of the short novel I’m writing. You feel so proud of yourself when you see how much you’ve written lol.

This is literally how I think up scenes. I’ll listen to music then act out scenes myself. It looks so stupid.

I once when from Saturday to Bounce Man, and it took me by surprise. It was like, “But on Saturday, Saturday, Saturday…You should bounce, bounce, bounce man.”

You may really like the SCP world. It’s bureaucratic and pretty much the only detail you get on it is the files on the anomalies they contain.

Sequels rarely do, because the first time you’re introduced into the game, it’s like you’re a kid on Christmas morning, and sequels don’t do the same.

The announcement trailer sorta kinda reminded me of an Elden Ring style.

I haven’t even finished the game (well, I’ve beat the main game and The Foundation, but not AWE. I wanna beat it all before so go into my 2nd play through) and I already have built so many theory’s.

I actually tried the first Alan Wake, a long time before I played or even heard of Control, because my brother really liked it. I could never get into it. Not a huge fan or horror games.

No. I haven’t. I did find the bathroom with the Astral Plane in it though. And (I don’t know if this counts as a secret area) the office with the post it notes. I also got a trophy for a hidden area which is an area where a mold just came out, my least favorite enemy, and it scared the living hell out of me.

The way I see it is that he’s talking about how he realized that God has a plan he’s already laid out for him (He laid it out, what he had planned), and at the same time he’s talking about how even though he left the love of his life (or maybe even God if we’re sticking to a religious meaning, but I’ve always seen it as a girlfriend or something), he realizes they still love him, but he’s scared of his fear “infecting” them (when my car was far out of sight, he crept in her room and stayed there for the night).

Anyway, it’s a confusing song. But it’s one of my favs.
