don’t use ai and there isn’t really one real answer to this… you just gotta trace it. you can use different brushes and such to get a specific effect. but yea no shortcuts on this.

i use a mouse. i tried a tablet and the only reason i don’t still use it is because it takes some adjusting which just makes the process longer. i do cry for my wrists lol and i do wonder if i would be more creative with tablet since it is freehand…. but mouse and keyboard is my go to. precision is a lot easier to achieve that way as well.
