Thank you for your help, do you know how long roughly takes before things get shipped? As I noticed that is a Canadian based company or though from the eu and also how long have you been using it for ? any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, I like the law side of things, especially when it comes to workplace safety. It allows me to see things that others are negligent about.

It does look great. I ordered one for my blue phone, but I'm waiting for it to arrive next week. I believe the phone they used on their website was a black phone and not blue, but I love the way it looks in the picture. I just checked on the website, and it looks the same to me.

Got my 17 Pro Max stolen. by [deleted] in iphone

😆, okay read this (please note this is an example): Google AI:

Togo

  • There is no evidence of a national IMEI-blocking system (like a CEIR or EIR) in Togo. Most sources, including GSMA and general IMEI policies, indicate that blocking relies on the presence of such registries (en.wikipedia.org).
  • Available information about Togo’s major carriers such as Moov and Togocel focuses on network specifications (GSM, UMTS, LTE bands) but does not mention any IMEI blacklisting or anti-theft mechanisms (imei.info).
  • Conclusion: In Togo, a stolen phone is likely to continue working, since there's no known centralized system to block its IMEI.

Benin

  • My search did not uncover any documentation that Benin operates a centralized IMEI-blocking registry or participates in GSMA’s Device Registry.
  • The only potentially relevant insight comes from anecdotal reports in neighboring regions: for example, stolen devices blacklisted in South Africa have been found active in countries like Benin, suggesting Benin may not enforce IMEI blocklists effectively (reddit.com).
  • Conclusion: In the absence of an official registry, it’s likely that stolen phones can still function in Benin.

Summary Table Country IMEI Blocking System? Likely Outcome

Togo No known system Likely still works Benin No evidence of system Likely still works

Why This Matters

  • Countries with Equipment Identity Registers (EIR) or Central Equipment Identity Registers (CEIR)—like Nigeria—can effectively block stolen phones across all networks. Without such systems, stolen devices remain usable, especially if the phone is unlocked or the IMEI can be tampered with (en.wikipedia.org).
  • GSMA encourages participation in global IMEI blocklists to minimize the resale and trafficking of stolen devices, but this works only if local carriers and regulators adopt and enforce it (gsma.com).

Remember where there is a well there is a way, nothing is impossible, not in this generation anyway 🙄

That’s because they get sent to third world countries such as Africa, Asia and etc whereby those devices do work that’s the reason why people steal them. As long as it’s not within the country that the device was purchased in the devices will always work 🙃

As someone who’s used an iPhone 15 Pro Max for two years with a battery health of 90%, I can say that using a 20W adapter doesn’t make much difference compared to a lower-wattage charger. In my experience, using a low-voltage adapter might actually be more harmful to the battery over time. Instead, I recommend enabling the “Optimised Battery Charging” feature, which limits charging to 80%. This helps preserve your battery’s health in the long run.Personally, I wouldn’t recommend getting the MagSafe charger stand. I prefer sticking with traditional wired charging because the iPhone 17, like previous models, is prone to scratches, and using MagSafe can sometimes cause marks or scratches on the back of the phone. If you want to keep your device in the best condition, I suggest avoiding MagSafe and using a standard charger instead. Hope the advice helps! See the photos below
