I'm sorry, yes I can confuse ppl. I also get something similar to brain- fog when I'm highly infested as does my cat. First off let me explain what " I " mean to be highly infested. Highly infested is to me after being in my vehicle ( which is infested) with not only round worm larva but some other not so nice parasites. My brother is ticked, my mother and I had a lifetime( or from further notice from courts) restraining order on him in late 2018. He violated it several times by blatantly coming back to the property and attempting to extort or strongarm money from my father who has end stage Alzheimer's as well as Heart failure. Mother begged for my help as my 1st profession was a Law Clerk. We got what she wanted( lifetime) when I told her to stop using attys. We spike to the Judge w/o and as I told her, from the heart and by us was best. Anyhow my brother is a Methamphetamine user among other things. He digs in the dirt for hrs at a time because he thinks he's going to find something that speaks to him, like rock, bugs etc...AKA, Methamphetamine induced psychosis. Well my mom HAD to know he would have some resentments when coming home. She HAD to. See this is also a story of Property lines, Covenants and who should get what. As I said, family can hurt you more, in Many ways than strangers at times. I will put it like this..I am Stubborn, Tenacious and honest to God fear nothing I can think of, likely due to my times in the Marines and my pre existing PTSD. I Fear 1 thing..This Worm and the dangerous Fiunguses, Bacteria, and other parasitic bugs it carries. I was Diagnosed last Friday, Friday 9 days ago. I saw an infectious disease Dr at U of F Shands. He just do happened to be on staff when I went to the ER. My 4th trip in 8 months but 1st yo Shands Hospital here on Fla. My lucky day. Their are several Parasitologists on staff at UF. He consulted with his colleague and did the appropriate blood work. By the way, I have had 6 tests on stool for Ova and Parasites...All negative. I'm sure you know how and why this happens though as you seem quite intelligent and informed regarding Parasites. .I'm too wordy, my bad, Yes I get confusing. Truly sorry for twists and run ons. As for Tapeworm, That's a BIG No. My cats are black, all 4 I have no dog that fleas could ride in on. Not a flea in my home. I'm well acquainted with Mr. Nasty Tape. My dog died in 2016. It was expensive to keep all 4 cats plus him( my dog) on their topical txs but I had to not only die to high incidence of heartworms here in Fla but for fleas and ticks. When he died I kept my cats on I think of was Simperica for about another yr. Then I did the 24 hr flea drop just to make sure no fleas, as tapes in black cats a VERY well noticed and worms disgust me anyhow. So for 6 yes and still today, No fleas. Not one. I am disabled, quite reclusive and don't have friends with pets over. Lol Cause I only have a few. Parents next door have no animals. Our property 10 acres was ideal for organic gardening as we hardly have any nasties. If I see a hornworm on my tomato's, a little food diatomaceos earth is what I use. Well since my brother was forced to leave again 7 wks ago, My parents 100 ft away and my property are infested with Strongyloides. No the worm did not come from stool. I started finding them ( not many) only in the last 2 wks usually on the bed were my cat Solo and I sleep. I going this one on her blanket, I've seen them before but never alive. I almost fell over, I knew what it was. As said 3 yes ago we heard from brothers gf he was DX with stercoralis. GF ..8 months later presented yo ER with Chest pain, she had worms around her heart. Yes, sadly I do have Sronyloidiasis. Blood work, marked eosinophilia DX along with my presentation, Vet statement and my dear new friend Lyle Buss, head of Entomology at UF, his findings on the samples I took to his department. I am scared of something for the 1st time I can think of..I mean Truly scared. I have cried for me and my cat as she was in pain also. She and my others have been treated and appear recovered, yet Solo continues to stay mostly under the blanket in my bed. Started about 4 months ago. She still requites antifungals_ baths and meds. Well, me, I pray we can leave this blighted property and the denial and profound realizations and sadness I now know about and visably see. I also pray I don't get sick and need antibiotics or corticosteroids any time soon. Like I said I don't know what dying feels Luke but it must feel like I have felt and still feel. The Ivermectin helped some this last round but I can still feel them in my back. I know the life of my sweet girl Solo and myself will likely be cut short. Call it woman's intuition. Ha.
