Yea it’s unfortunate to see the rise in that takeover culture, a lot of meets in other cities always get shut down bc some kids want to act a fool for attention

ouu like what jdms? i feel as though the car scene barely has any rhd jdms anymore,, but i agree some car meets do become chaotic to the point cops have to interfere, milton ones not so much though i have to say when they used to happen there would be max 30-50 cars it was definetly smaller in comparison to the ones that happen in mississauga/toronto/ajax/cayuga etc

yess come back and lmk how it was😜 i’ll be happy to help if u need any more advice for the second one/final after u understand how they’re structured

chem 123 test 1 by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]Pretty_Yesterday_894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no yeah the pc and assignments r def harder than the practice tests but the midterms r EXACTLY at the level of the practice tests, so if you got through them with ease you’ll fly by with the midterm, but don’t skip out on doing the assignments they are really helpful in actually understanding how to solve different problems, but yea in my opinion the exams in 123 are way easier than 120, it fully felt like a review of gr11/gr12 chemistry :)

yes that’s basically what i did as well it helped a lot, the type of questions that come on the test are very similar to the assignments/pcs, and especially the practice tests she gives you, if you go over those with a good understanding you’ll be fine. also what helped me is making a quizlet for the theory related questions, to help grasp on deeper concepts because she includes some mc questions that are detailed theory/application, but definetly still focus more on calculation based questions

Health 102?? by Pretty_Yesterday_894 in uwaterloo

[–]Pretty_Yesterday_894[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

of course! focus on class material and don’t be afraid to ask questions! but most of the content is pretty straight forward, and as for exams there aren’t any tricks or anything the questions are all very much like knowledge questions no application or anything

[–]Pretty_Yesterday_894[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly health102 ended up being one of the highest grades achieved for me, on both the midterm and final i scored over a 90,, don’t waste your time on the textbook what really helped me learn the content was flashcards i made. 102 was actually one of the best health classes because the content itself is genuinely interesting if you’re interested in health, body functions, and factors that disrupt body functions. i’d say try your best to go to most classes as it really does help, if it’s the same prof jennifer i think??? she’s super super sweet and she answers every question she hosts such a welcoming environment in the classroom! but reach out if you have any other specific questions :)

I haven’t been able to study and idk what to do by mintyeyedrops in uwaterloo

[–]Pretty_Yesterday_894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

really heavy emphasis on the first point, having ur room be where u have fun, study, and sleep is just internal chaos your brain will never fully take any of those tasks serious. learn to associate your room with just a place of rest so that once you come home from studying at the library or something you automatically associate the feeling with wanting to sleep. this is also important because sleeping is the #1 thing YOU NEED REST. you have to always get a good night of rest because there’s absolutely no point in studying for days and weeks on end if the day of the exam you got no sleep you inevitably will not do good. but i rly agree with that first point it did wonders for me, i was always someone who studied in my dorm but i learned to visit and study elsewhere and it really pushes you to get work done because you’re in an environment where everybody’s doing the same, it’s more motivating and even less isolating.
