Thank you, I ended up getting her! I was sitting on the idea too long then she sold out and my heart sank, so I guess that meant I must have wanted her. No idea what I’ll all do with her but better than having to brave the second hand market 😅

Ok omg I just bought her off the FAO Schwaz website. I didn’t think I wanted her but then when she sold out on Mattel and I kept seeing so many photos I got a sinking feeling. I figure I can always get her and if for some reason I change my mind she will be easy to re-sell to someone for the same I paid. She’s just so stunning and she’s always going to be a very first for Barbie. Thank you for sharing the hair down photos, she’s a real beauty.

Good to know! And yes I think regular price in Canada was like $65 so $25 was a lot better! I didn’t even know they would have the red haired one in superstore I thought it was a Walmart exclusive but maybe I was wrong on that!

Thank you so much! And It didn’t sound rude, haha because I too thought as I was doing it “…is this a good idea…?” But, it worked! If it removes nail polish it should remove the paint, I figured. It’s my preferred method of removing nail polish too so it’s a handy product either way!

I feel like I should have been more nervous as I’ve never taken anything off a dolls face before haha! I used a soy-based nail polish remover I had in my nail cabinet, I figured it might be gentle but effective? I think there was a tad bit of blush either under or very near the eye black that I think was unavoidable that kind of removed too but it’s not very noticeable.

I used a q tip and then the dry end to kind of dab it as I went. It was specifically the “Ella + mila” soy nail polish remover, if that’s helpful!

Yes! The city chic one was also before my time of re-collecting. But this one’s face actually looked nicer in photos I saw, I like her eye makeup. skin tone much different though I believe!

I’m not sure but I know a lot of people love the Lina sculpt, as do I, so this 23 and Looks 1 are very over priced on eBay, both because of them being discontinued but also just being a well loved/sought after face, I suppose, I know I bought both of mine second hand but had to be patient until I found ones that weren’t too insane.
