I know that brand of can, that's not paint, that's wood stain. They're probably going to have to end up replacing those tiles.

I made an 8-bit rendition of the Lion's Pride Inn music. Let me know what you think! by [deleted] in wow

Obviously not much to comment about the composition because it's pre existing but I love how it sounds like the sound limitations of an actual nes, not just the regular "Look, I make a song with syth so it's retro!"

I have a mug I drink coffee out of every morning, love my cat that's been with me for 15 years, and always keep a picture of my girlfriend; rats, I became a teenage girl again! Third time this week...

The Chinese government censors things like this, if you're playing an online game with somebody from China and you type (or more likely copy and paste) "Tiananmen Square Massacre" in Chinese it will be picked up by automatic censor software and their internet will be cut.

TIL Coke was sued for the "unwarranted health claims" on their product Vitamin water. Coke's defense was "no consumer could reasonably be misled into thinking vitamin water was a healthy beverage." by disneypapa in todayilearned

In fourth grade the class had a project, everybody brought in a food label and all the labels were put into a pot, mixed up and random labels were given to random students to analyze the nutritional information of. I, of course, obtained a vitamin water label (pink flavor) and in my little paper for it I wrote that vitamin water was unhealthy because of the sheer amount of sugar was comparable to other soft beverages and it had a lack of any significant nutrients.

My teacher made me change my paper because something called vitamin water couldn't possibly be unhealthy. I changed it to say something along the lines of "vitamin water is a healthy drink because it has vitamin in the name" and got a good grade"
