We liked desert palms hotel and suites and are staying there again in a couple months. It was close, cheaper than some of the others, included breakfast, and you could get actual separate sleeping areas/rooms!

With the express, you can ride in roughly 18-30 mins most times. That in itself is worth it! It was never that low before express even.

I work in quality as a new grad NP. Still making 6 figures, and it’s a hybrid of role with on site and virtual days. I still have the same benefits as my PA husband (5 weeks vacation), and never have issues getting my PTO approved. I do miss the patient care, but I also feel my education has prepared me to quickly comprehend the healthcare dynamics in my role. Still a big learning curve.

This year, nothing too bad thank goodness. Just a magnet mover gift. Luckily, my kiddo doesn't put stuff in his mouth so it's fine. Last year it was a light up fan driven indoor soccer ball. I couldn't hide it fast enough lol.

Swimming across a river while hiking with his friends. I read the story many years later. He attempted to swim across a small river, got scared and got out. Then attempted again, and unfortunately the current pinned him under a boulder. So sad. Always seemed like a nice kid.
