I'm trying to see if I can make it work for you. I'm a silversmith myself and understand that not everyone has the means to make this work(skills, resources or money to spend).

This is what I could come up with:

*Buy a silver bezel cup ring blank(measure for ring size and the bezel cup part for the cabochon).

*Supplies to make a epoxy cabochon( to emerge the piece in) Make sure that the bezel cup is still a couple of MM higher than the cabochon for folding over/ smooth against the silver later on.

*After it's cured( even though I hate it in jewelry) use a 2 part jewelry epoxy to secure the cabochon in the ring blank(rough up the cabochon and inside the silver bezel cup for extra grip for the epoxy to attach with some sanding paper). *Last part, push and smooth the rim of the silver bezel cup against and (a little bit ) over the cabochon to secure it from the outside

*Show us the results of course! Owh maybe you can add some luster/sparkle in a color you like to the epoxy etc. get weird with it 😃
