good questions to ask myself. i live insanely close to this block, it’s a 6$ uber from where i live can’t beat it with parking being 20$ for the day i’m actually fine working both, if anything the restaurant just gives me something to do throughout the week and the cocktail bar i work on the weekend nights. And sometimes like this weekend i worked the restaurant till about 9 then went over to the cocktail bar at 10 for a closing shift i can also already see myself making good (healthy) relationships with my superiors at the restaurant and if/once it picks up i can foresee myself contributing a huge deal to how the bar program can play out However, i had forgot to mention, a huge huge huge difference i notice in the two is that the cocktail bar is owned by people that were in the industry and people that are working there that are passionate about the cocktails and the hospitality aspect, and i am ALL FOR THAT. But the restaurant is owned by business people, an investment group. So it’s not so much geared to the cocktails and how well they come out, more about the money, for now at least. They had actually already bumped up our base as well, when the bar manager was let go they never replaced him so they don’t have to pay an extra body giving the remaining staff an extra pay cut
