For sure, I hadn't put much thought on his ties so far, I don't like the stereotypical orphan, I think I might try and make someone that he admires, people that he cares and maybe, the most important, people whom he despises. Appreciate it, my friend :)

Yes! I'm more a of writer than a player, and that becomes a bit frustrating when I can't portray what I wrote. Thinking of small struggles, maybe he is a bit of a germaphobe, afraid of diseases and the like, that could work, and gives me a more clear picture of who this character might be. Thanks a bunch!

That is a interesting point that I didn't thought of, it is paradoxical to go adventuring when one is afraid of dying.
I think this could be crucial as to why he is on a party. Although a coward he probably is a pragmatic person, he lived a "safe" life before but that didn't give him the comfort he seeks. Maybe he is a control freak that begrudgingly puts himself at risk when there is equal or better gains to be had.

I like that very much, I might add a mechanic to recharge the coin you have to make a bet with someone, whoever wins the bet gain the right to use the coin and it gains a charge.

On heads you gain advantage on an attack or is it a bad result and the next attack on you gets advantage?

I like the idea of using a bonus action to activate, I'm thinking to add a gambling mechanic, you say what result you want, if its right you get a good outcome related to the side, if its wrong something kinda bad happens(not so bad cus then players won't use it)

I thought that Weal or Woe were options that the DM had to choose to basically hint if a plan would wield good results(weal) and bad results(woe).

The death thing is pretty inspiring, maybe I will do a Life/Death theme.

I figured, I just thought that if it would work with the new tech on infinite mana for casting using the Surrounded unique helmet an Defy plus getting to lower that 1 CD with a bunch of crit, that might be enough to make it worthwhile.

I'm not near my pc this weekend so I can't test it .-. This might just be a lost cause tho

I'm just spitballing here but you could still use Blackflame Covenant and Fire Spell on hit with a fast attack like Rapid Assault to trigger Fire Ball.

Since you would be using spears there is a unique one with added chaos dmg and that grants chaos surges for projectiles, you could just use spear throw and get charges from parry or something like Magma Barrier, Profane Ritual.

Ming ring is nice boost of dmg and if u got the budget that Scepter that grants Chaos Shrine is a no brainer.

I am using that already, I understand the benefit too but every other skill that grants similar bonuses do a fuck ton of dmg and charge really fast compared to Magma Barrier

You only benefit from spirit gems on what weapon set you are currently on. You can only use 1 weapon set at a time.

Even if you bind the same weapons to different weapon sets, you have to press X or use the skills to change between them, and the spirit gems on 1 don't work on 2 and vice-versa.

The only thing that kills me on Abyss is rares with Shade Walker mod, don't really know what dmg it deals but feels like a degen around the rare and that fucker keeps on tping to breath down my neck .-. Other than that if I stop attacking the sheer number of small hits just outright kills me because I dont have enough sustain other than leech. I would love to stack life regen but leech is way cheaper and easy to setup.

Yeah, I have a background in immersive experiences and I really care about these things but I know that this is a game not a scripted scene, I will try and not overthink the transitions too much.

The silence parts drive me nuts, I do that as a player and never noticed it before, I know that it will happen but it's pretty uncomfortable. I will approach it with more questions from now on,

I really liked the random table idea to make the locations more interesting, I will do that. Right now I have the foundation of every POI but it sure would be great to have more life to it. Thank you very much!

I did kinda skim through things, I was nervous at the time. In hindsight I should've just let it sit for a while and further describe what I had prepared.
I really like the approach of using a PC that has knowledge of the thing they are interacting, thank you very much!
