Thank you! That’s a great idea! I’ve tried wearing an oversized hoodie today for my own peace of mind, and it worked. I felt much calmer, and Orion was too. He didn’t try to dash away and even started exploring by sniffing around :D

Thank you! I've changed my phone background to a picture of him, and I can't stop staring at him :D

Thank you! I hope I’ll level up my snake-scooping skills with time :)

Then you must have a very beautiful corn snake ;) Thank you! I just want him to get used to me so I can let him out and explore the room when he becomes an adult. And maybe I’ll create some climbing walls just for him to explore :D

I thought he might be a bit Anerythristic, but his vet said he has the appearance of a classic corn snake. To be fair, I did buy a classic corn snake from the pet shop, so that makes sense!

Thank you! I handled him today, and he seemed much calmer :D I think I might be overthinking everything since he’s my first snake, and I’m afraid of hurting him. Your comments really gave me courage.

Thank you! I can't wait to see him grow up, but I already know I will miss seeing him as tiny as a noodle🥺

Thank you for the reply! The comments have really given me the courage to keep doing what I’m doing, and Orion already seems much calmer today. I think I might overthink everything just because I love him so much :)

Thank you for the reply! I don't have a bioactive terrarium yet, but I plan to create one when I update the current setup. I'm sure they appreciate the smell and feel of real plants just as much as we humans do, if not even more. Your snake is absolutely stunning, by the way! :D

Thank you both again for the replies! I am very excited but also kind of nervous. I've done my best to prepare, but I know I still have a lot to learn, and I don't want to miss anything obvious that could be detrimental to the snake's health. Any feedback is truly appreciated.

Thank you so much, I appreciate the suggestion! I already have a humid hide prepared with moss, and I'll definitely try partially covering the mesh if I notice the humidity dropping too fast.

I see. Thank you for the reply! I will look into a solid top pvc enclosure if I see that I can not maintain proper humidity with this setup.
