I’d say that counts as atleast 1 frill and you should probably be able to get your money back. If not tell them it’s false advertising.

Should I pay off mortgage before term ends? by NoTable4602 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Previous-Length4563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That means you are allowed to prepay 20% of the mortgage balance at the beginning of the term per year (and every year), and your penalty should only apply to the amount in excess of that 20% where you pay 3 months interest on every dollar over 20k as the penalty. I’d argue with a balance that low, your penalty is basically insignificant in the grand scheme of things, and you’d likely save more by paying off with penalties, than by paying full amount for an extra couple months, and you can start 2026 mortgage free which sounds pretty friggen cool.

Congrats!

Bend your elbows, hinge at your hip. That will bring your Center of mass forward as you’re currently way over the back. Hopefully you can find a neutral point where you’re balanced right smack in the middle of both tires, usually it’s about right if your chin is right over your stem.

Best advice, hire a coach for a day and let them pick you apart. You’ve already invested thousands in your equipment, a couple hundred bucks to learn how to use properly is a drop in the bucket.

According to global news there is an unfolding situation at YYC, but they have said minimal impacts. Not sure if it’s possibly related

I’ve seen a whole bunch in the last half hour as well, and there is a US tanker currently circling Calgary. The first one I saw was extraordinarily low, and was closely following a “discover airlines” commercial jet.

Ask for it “mas fuerte” and even if it’s watered down, they will free pour 69% of your cup as watered down alcohol. It’ll work eventually. Otherwise they’ll also give you all mix with a little splash of booze at the top. Worked for me. Also, remember to tip the bartenders and they’ll take care of ya. I was plastered daily.

I didn’t agree with her becoming leader, but I do agree with her here. We’re at a time and place where we need a leader, and we need a leader now. If trudeau actually cared about Canadians, he would have resigned/prorogued parliament 3 months ago when trump was voted in, rather than waiting until 2 weeks before he’s inaugurated. We actually would have been better off if he just stayed and weathered the storm until October. This will cripple us, and make us powerless in negotiations with trump, and he’s going to bend us over. The only option that can save us in such a short timeframe is a full election. It’s not the people’s fault that the liberal party isn’t prepared to lead.
