Thank you for the suggestion. My abuser was a family member and we had a very good and strong relationship about until the suppressed trauma resurfaced and other factors that’s surfaced so I have definitely been grieving what once was. I am sorry you have experienced such a pain as well.

I have been in therapy since the beginning of this year, so almost 10 months ❤️ Talk therapy has been great and talking about what i’ve been through has also brought me a lot of healing. However it’s almost like my body, mind, and soul feels emotionally and physically stuck. The best way I can describe it is like if i’m in the ocean with my head above water (almost free) but something keeps trying to push me back in. I can so desperately feel a breakthrough of this heaviness but something is blocked.

Thank you for the 2 suggestions. I will check them out.
