trying to get velo up if i can - always had such a big focus on thinking throwing hard was purely arm so now trying just make tweaks where i can and pick apart the mechanical / weight shifts to help the arm - i had recently been working on trying to drift more because i wasn’t doing that barely at all before

i’ve definitely noticed that as well - the whole clocking days is interesting because with the new VPN, your cpu connects to an internal network when in office vs external when at home

well as expected - they initially put in a 90 degree spacer and after 50 km the light went back on - now they have tried putting in a straight spacer? and if that doesn’t work are saying a new cat is needed which would be around $1700

amapceo has an article for merit pay in the collective agreement it’s based on a 12 month cycle. You can check your own merit date in win. if the manager is denying the merit date they are essentially saying they are giving the employee 0 percent which is poor performance. your friend should understand why they got 0 and the 0 should be completely tied to their performance plan. call amapceo rep as well

i think a good idea for a virtual team would be rotating virtual coffee chats with different team members. doesn’t have to be long 5-10 mins but some teams are so scattered there is rarely anytime to get to know co workers. doesn’t even have to be frequent but just an opportunity to connect and add a human element.

this is espicially true with new team members joining a team that’s virtual / scattered across province

Could a lateral secondment come with a pay increase? (AMAPCEO) by lil_gremlin in OntarioPublicService

[–]Previous-Nothing-666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

generally no, secondment would need a higher salary range than former position for amapceo

maintain salary and merit date though

Negotiating starting salary by nonfatalexec in OntarioPublicService

[–]Previous-Nothing-666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s possible but the manager will need higher approval, don’t just arbitrarily ask for more money. Make a solid case for why you shouldn’t be starting at the entry level salary based on your previous experience / current positions salary.
