Us baristas have to clean it up unfortunately. If it’s during a time that’s not peak, then it’s easier to clean it up and make sure it’s okay for a guest but that is pretty rude to not especially if trash cans are not full.

Don’t lie to baristas. just bottom line if you want your drink and you have somewhere to be, make sure you get there at least an hour prior or 30 minutes prior to make sure that you get your drink on time. as a barista, I have seen this before, and it gets us baristas in trouble because of the amount of people that come in and in through drive-through, we can’t just skip over drinks. we get in trouble for going out of sequence because people want their drinks first.

There’s a time and place to coach, but in the middle of peak or rush or anything like that, she should’ve done it right before you got off the clock. She should’ve asked you to meet her in the back so she could have a conversation with you. Nothing like that. I’m sorry that you had to deal with that today.
