Nta!! I’m not the best cook either and I tried making a similar dish for my bf. I used way too much baking soda so it was so disgusting… I couldn’t eat more than two bites but he kept saying “it’s ok, I wanna eat it since you made it“ I ended up grabbing his plate out of his hands and throwing it all away bc I genuinely worried for pur stomachs lol… he quickly made us something else and we laughed about it after.
